Funny half. We've had lots of ball, but part of that is because Palace's game plan is not to have it. We do look dangerous at times, but the omnipresent carelessness really hampers us. Our front four have all had their moments, but carelessness and poor decision making and execution has meant we have not turned great situations into quality chances.

It would be unfair to single any of the front four out as they are all working quite hard, seeing plenty of the ball and trying to force things, but they have all been guilty of lack in composure when it really matters.

This CM2 really troubles me. When Palace are in the deep bus park mode it's not so much of an issue, but at other times these two lack vim and vigour. Dier has been harried out into giving poor passes or giving the ball away a few times, and he just doesn't have that 360 degree compass that a CM must have, at least to some degree, he sees the game in tunnels. And when we give the ball away up top, he is so easily by passed and run round on the counter.

If we did get a goal, and Palace decided to come at us, I just couldn't see these two offering us any control of the midfield. Persoanlly I'd like to see Carroll out there. If it was me, I'd take Chadli off, go 433 with Carroll and Alli either side of Dier and have Lamela and Son either side of Kane. With Carroll looking to release the more direct players.

Vertonghen is in absolute top form. Our best player in the last three matches.

Several times I've seen our defenders look desperately for out balls and neither Dier or Alli wanting to take it under the Palace press.

That's a tad harsh, I feel like you're voicing your feelings opposed to your logic. Walker has been decent this season.
His batshit errors are like cannonballs to our momentum and it destabilises our defense and starts the jitters throughout the whole team.

The cost is too expensive.

He's definitely improved and done plenty of good things this season but I can't stand the batshit anymore. It's too costly to our game. We need to build stability into our game, not uncertainty.

I've lost count the amount of times momentum has been lost in an attack.
