Wow what a strange Chelsea team. No Costa, and who, hazard up top on his own? They will pack the midfield for this one, and to use joses best line, park the bus

Looks like Davies and Wimmer are competing for the same bench spot.

Davies is a LB who can do a job at CB and Wimmer is a CB who can do a job at LB, so I guess it maes some sense, although I'd rather see them both on the bench as I like them both.

Especially in a derby game. His play style, energy, and history as an academy product suggest he's tailor made for this type of game.

Just hope he brings some positional discipline as Chelsea are lining up to play purely on the counter it seems.

No Costa is a massive shock to me. We need to dominate early IMO, they're short on confidence and their leader isn't out there. In and around the box they'll be dangerous but I don't expect many crosses to defend!

Why am I feeling rather confident?

Look guys, I'll get this out of the way now if the worst happens. I'm not feeling anxious about this game at all. I know, I know. All very weird. Should we lay a log then obviously my lack of nerves is the cause, I'm a very special person after all (my mum said so), and I apologise profusely.

Damn I like the look of that line up. Even sans Coco and Dele.

All about the first goal. Midfield is going to be ridiculously crowded.

I don't know how to react to this game. If I was a neutral I would back spurs on current form but I'm pretty nervous. Anyway COYS!

Right team. Gives us the opportunity to control the midfield with Lamela and co to come on if we need them.

COYS!

I think that is a really poor team selection for Chelsea.

Our high press will force them into a lot of long balls and without Costa they will struggle to hold up the ball meaningfully. Only alternative will be to get runners in behind on the break so I expect a busy day for Lloris off his line.
So yes that team is set up to park the bus and hit on the break.

Walker and Rose will have to push up wisely or risk allowing Hazard and Willian space in behind them. I'm glad we've gone for Mason rather than Lamela. I'm not sure Eriksen in the middle is suited to this type of game so keeping Dembele in with the two behind is better.

Given we'll have them pinned back most of the game Terry will be a huge loss for them. He may be a prick but he's also one of England's best penalty box defenders.
