Absolute tosh. What the actual F does it help if you boo your own players. Guess you were one of the guys that Booed Sanches as wel lthen? It is beyond cringe and i am so embarased when i hear all this booing.

If you feel so entiteled to boo just because you are so "nice" to pay to watch Spurs, then i feel sorry for you. Yes we can scream and talk shit on a Forum, but when you are actually at the stadium and only causing a toxic atmosphere, how do you think that will help the players in any way??
The stadium was dead silence in the first half as well when we did ok btw,.Our stadium now is more know for its great accoustics in Booing rather than cheering.

So yeah i have the absolute cheeks to post this, because it is so embarrasing, we make AFTV look great ffs.
First of you are not supporting the team, because of booing, seccond you are supporting Levy because you pay for the ticket/beers. Then after the booing and screaming then the Levy out singing begins?? it makes no sense. Stay outside the stadium and sing then.

Why do you feel entitled to tell others how to support our club?

Everyone will have their view on how they wish to show their displeasure at Levy/ENIC/players

I know that they had lost, but I thought a lot of the players were disrespectful to the fans during the ‘lap of appreciation’ they just strolled around the pitch well away from the fans, chatting to each other. Some just occasionally waving aimlessly to nobody. A few did interact, but most looked like they couldn’t be arsed - when they should have been thanking individually everyone who has made the effort and turned up to support week after week despite being served up lacklustre, pedestrian crap most games.

We aren't consistently putting in good performances, winning football matches, and hopefully getting good outcomes on top of that, until we are prepared to run, roll our sleeves up and put in a shift, and set some standards to our work. We have some disgustingly lazy fuckers in this squad right now - whether they're star players or deadwood.
Absolutely and the significance of this doesn't seem to be widely recognised here.

We had this sorted under Poch and never prior or since. Lot of talk about differing managers/tactics etc...but if this lack of concerted effort
carries on, it won't matter a toss who comes in.

It'll need a tough character..it's why I thought Kompany's forceful nature could be right for us rather than a smiling nice guy who might not want to rock the boat.

I was only able to watch the first half and it seemed a fairly positive, attacking performance, with us very much in control. My only slight disappointment was that we weren't 2 or 3 goals up. Wtf happened after half-time? :inpain:

I honestly can't see how we're going to shift the players that we need to...which is basically all of them

Even if you take out the issue of Levy trying to get a ludicrous price for players who aren't worth it, who would take some of them after some of these performances?

Yes they've been coached poorly for a while now, but the way they capitulate is pretty unforgivable
Theyll all be given a chance on pre season and will put in just enough effort to stay and continue in the same vein. So many poor second half performances today it's hard to know what was said at half time.

What did it look like on TV in terms of % of fans who’d stayed for the lap of honour?

I left straight on the final whistle but be interesting to know.

I didnt watch the game today - how did Danjuma do?
Not great mate, he showed pace and directness but ball got caught in his feet a few times and his decision making and final ball was a bit poor.

To be fair he’s probably lacking match sharpness.

Did Mason say Richy had a knock otherwise I wonder why he wasn’t given many minutes.

Sold my ticket for this one as I've had enough of most of these dickheads. But I'm curious about what you're saying - which ones were just strolling around chatting and not interacting?

Well i am not telling people how they should support their club, it is a forum after all and we share opinions, and my opinion is that the way people boo at players then give money to Levy, to then sing Levy out is completely backwards

This Lucas Moura you tube doesn’t really show it that well, but you get a bit of an idea of their demeanour.

100%. Kane went round at the front with his family. Then a group of people (the rest of the players) followed through keeping their distance from the supporters. Sanchez was behind waving to the crowd which i respected then Son was right up close to the fans walking round with Lucas at the back signing shirts and being equally as close to the fans. The rest may have well been family members. Emotional send off to Lucas (and potentially Kane) but the other players not mentioned above clearly didn't give a ****
