Always love European nights at the Lane... sad that its not going back there for one last hurrah. The atmosphere from last season's Fiorentina game was the best I'd felt since AC Milan.

I'm going to miss that place

Whilst I'm sitting on the fence, I love that Utd are favourites and I think we are a better team than them.

If a gap opens between ourselves and top 4 then we should go all out, if not play the fringe and kids with a few players who haven't been stretched physically recently.

I want this to be our priority now.

I can't believe we had the type of season we had last season and all got excited for that wet fart of a Champions League adventure.

We're not going to look back in however many years time and say "remember that time we finished 3rd and 4th a couple of times." Lets actually try and win something for once. 2 cups, of which are the lowest priority, in 25 years is appalling

we are still in the hunt for 4th. and until thats over we wont take the EL seriously.

Not my opinion but the clubs.

It would be nice to get a group of fans together who want to sing.

It's been my only real gripe about the Wembley experience that you don't get the variety of player songs that you do at a PL home game. The only player song I heard all game against CSKA was the Alli song, a few of us tried getting Eriksen one started but nobody joined in.

Glad that we are in the Europa League rather than out of Europe completely, but shouldn't really be in this position.

Anyway, it allows Poch to rotate and should help our league performances as the first XI will play in that. I also hope it will mean real game time for CCV, Onomah, Edwards (I think Winks has made the step up enough to be playing PL games)

I'm fine with being in it if we take it seriously - we didn't last season but I think it represents our best chance of qualifying for the CL this year and of course by far the most important thing would be that it's winning a trophy.

This competition is simpler than the CL and we have more chances to advance in the competition. Anybody know if we are in the pot 1 (best 16) or pot 2 (the others)?

Thanks! :)

I'm sad! The draw of my dreams was Roma or Fiorentina :(

There are some stinking ties there for us. Really want to avoid the two possible Russian trips.

Gent would be lovely - both for the fans and the teams travel.

We need to be in Europe whichever competition it is - so we may have to travel a bit further, but it is potentially only one more game to win this than the CL. If we had qualified from the group stages of the CL would we all be moaning that it would ruin our chances of qualifying for next years CL - I doubt it (although there are some weirdos on here).

Hope it's not Monchengladbach. They're my German team and they are also pretty strong. And German.
