Man City's record fee £60m, Chelsea only broke theirs to pay for a buyout clause, Man U didn't budge this summer & Liverpool I think have done their money rolling the dice, albeit on some pretty class players. With the other money spinners in their league buying 10+ players each this summer I really do think the market will start to die down now. I can see the inflation of prices start to rapidly decrease when it comes to the spiralling costs for Premier League clubs.
I think Arsenal will spend again now their stadiums paid off and if Villa get promoted they could have a splurge but apart from that, I think things will settle or players will just run their contracts down to having 1-2 years left on them and force their clubs hand a little bit. I can see the market changing for the better soon
