Dragon 1 on COYS:

There will be a center half joining in Jan that is number one priority

Angie asked for two players last summer one was maddison the other was Gallagher the rest was left up to the data selection team , we also like Phillips though so the likeleyhood is holberg will go with one of those two in

angie does not think with the exception of son any of the other forwards are at the top top level yet, kulu and Johnson may get there but he feels we can improve there , we are keeping an eye on jota and that could happen possibly loan with option to buy in summer

a lot will depend on who else we can shift , the center half will happen because we sold Sanchez that’s how Daniel runs it , wages are as if not more important to him than fees , Loris is on 100 a week and dier on 50 them leaving in summer will mean players coming in next summer , Tanguy is on 220 a week and is clubs highest earner I believe he has 18 months left so it’s possible we do a deal in summer to pay him off , Barca want gio but no decision made yet

I fucking hope 'Angie' was an autocorrect.

A CB and Jota on loan with an option makes lots of sense.

That would allow us to direct our funds to the greatest position of need, and adding Jota would bolster our squad depth not only at the winger position but also at CF and CM. An additional option out wide would give us greater squad depth to allow Son to play up top and Kulusevski to play through the middle more frequently. It would round out the squad nicely without requiring us to splash loads of money in a January window.

The fact that Jota knows Ange's system would hopefully mean that he could hit the ground running, which would be a nice bonus considering the players we're losing on international duty.

He may not be the tricky one-v-one specialist that we need to add eventually, but it would be sensible business for the time being.

Surely a central midfielder is a must .
We are likely to go all the way through January and into February with options of Skipp Hojberg and a injury prone lo celso

Just was going to say the same. I know the deal will "seem" impossible but still think the deal for Gallagher is there to be done if we pay up. He also would slot in nicely to the Sarr role while Sarr is gone.

Don't kill me but I would be fine with giving Skipp a run-in at CDM while Bissouma is out. He's at the age where he could still have a future here as a HG squad player and beyond if he wants it, whereas I see PEH just as counting down the days to go our separate ways.

CB and CM for me and if a forward is there great, if not would rather push on for another CDM/Forward in Summer.

Ido t think skipp is ever going to be of the required standard we need in midfield.
Always gives him but it’s difficult to say what quality he offers .

his passing ain’t great , his tackling is wayward and rash at times I can only see him following a similar path to winks . Eventually leaving for a level below us

Very surprised Gallagher’s name is still being thrown around. Some were saying he was captain with some others out? He was one I thought would be a coup in the summer…wondering if anyone has been following or thoughts on him?

Dragusin was scouted and signed by Don Paratici in 2018 from the Romanian side for 250k. He also gave Dragusin's contract extension in 2021 when in Juve.
If we end up getting him now, thats a confirmation that he is still pulling the strings from behind
Dragusin just signed a contract extension today I'm pretty sure...

In American sports there are almost no teams that will refuse to deals with each other. That's how it's done out here, as long as both can reach an agreement it'll be done. If we through 40 mil on the table, they will take it as they desperately need to get their backs off the wall in terms of financial fair play and Poche is already asking for transfers.

It'll be interesting to see how everything plays out.

Bit annoying if Lloris staying is affecting our transfer plans. Had chances to leave last summer didn’t he?
