I assume you mean Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, or simply Corinthians, as they are known commonly. (y)

I know i'm being pedantic, but they're my Brazil team, I used to live on the same road as their stadium at Pacaembu, before they moved in 2015.

Agreed, we should be seriously looking into Wesley.

Maybe we can get his team mate Paulinho to have a word. ;)
I think he meant Nacional vs Corinthians.

For number 6 , I’d love us to be looking at either Aleix Garcia from Girona or Daniel Bologa from Sassuolo.

Benjamin Sesko Joshua Zirkzee or Jonathan David would be my choices for striker.

Been impressed with Kevin Zenón at Boca this year, plays left midfield/back and has it all. Determined young man who plays with his head up and has a great left peg.

Didn’t Zenón used to be a left winger? Was surprised to see him being dropped further back.

I haven’t watched Boca as much as I would have liked recently but they seemed to have a few interesting players in the few games I’ve seen. Ezequiel Fernandez at DM has been impressing me when I’ve watched them. Probably too raw to move now and needs to work on his decision making but he looks like he might potentially develop into a good DM.

Haven’t seen Artem Dovbyk mentioned anywhere yet. 63 goals and 21 assists in 92 games spanning across the last 3 seasons (2 for Dnipro, 1 for Girona). 84 g/a in 92 games is pretty damn good.

Big, strong, agile, hard working and Girona only signed him for 7m Euros so I would imagine would be fairly easily attainable. 26 years old so coming into his prime.

The boy clearly knows where the goal is and if you watch a video of all of his goals this year you will see a wide range of different types.

Think there were irregularities about the finances behind his signing too - sure that would help smooth any transfer away.

Can rule out any striker that doesn’t work his socks off anyway as it’s crucial to Ange.

And that's why I'm not a fan of stats because I still maintain that Son is shit at pressing. 🤣
He runs around a lot but it always looks mostly ineffective because he doesn't really put pressure on players and isn't great at cutting off the lines.

Agreed, but I don't think we'll be able to get him with the other clubs that are seemingly going in for him.

From reports it sounds like he is a second option for Arsenal and Chelsea, Milan wont have the money to buy him. Depends how early we go in for him, how much we are willing to convince him and how much we are willing to pay.

Also depends on if he is even a target/a player we are speaking to lol.

Also is someone constantly recording how quickly each player runs and who and how is a 'pressure without physical or ball contact' being determined? I apologise if this is rude but I think these stats (as do most) come across as a bit nonsensical.

I’m pretty sure they wear monitors under their shirts to measure these kind of things

The thing to remember with stats is that they are correlative and not causative. Meaning that you should use stats as a general indicator to point towards a trend amongst a set of players. Out of the list of top 10 that was shared probably a few of them are in reality not supposed to be in the top 10, so you use further analysis to weed them out. But as a starting point this list provides a number of candidates who likely should be in the top 10.
