As far as we know none of the top teams in the Premiership have shown any interest in Sandro, however that doesn't mean it's unplausible that Utd would be interested, nor does that mean we should throw him out.

Man city bid for him a few windows back.

Has Shewood been spotted at the game? And has some ITK suggested that its Isco he is watching?
Thanks
Sky Sports commentator spoke to him before the match! Asked him if he's there to scout Isco? He said he's there to scout all 22 players.

I think Sky interviewed him and they asked him who he was scouting and he said all 22 players

After thinking about it,i don't believe Sherwood has anything to do with the first team scouting. He's still in charge of the youth setup.Maybe he's checking out the 16y old striker.

Yes I think that's probably the case actually. It would seem to fit more within Tim's remit than scouting Isco.

It's interesting though that Sherwood skipped our earlier nextgen game to watch this match. Suggests that this scouting mission is not of a casual variety.

I dont know a thing about Isco but consulted the ever reliable scouting network of youtube and decided he's better than Messi. Sign him up ;)

That's some thorough research mate, I usually just read their wikipage.

I thought he had a role in first team transfers and such with the new setup?

For Sherwood to skip the NextGen game which he's said that he see's as the most important fixtures for the youth team it must have been urgent and very important.

For that reason its got to be Isco, watching a 16yr old could wait surely? Where as Isco would be urgent as we need him in the first team.

Agree! But why are we scouting him now? Surely AVB knows all about Isco. Even I could tell you he's a quality player without having to watch tonight's match. Maybe someone can ask JJ? ;)

Completely agree, to be scouting players with less than two weeks left of the window is ridiculous.

Not really. Footie is a year long thing. You take every opportunity to see players. Saying there is a 'season' to view a player is myopic and I thank every god out there (including science!) that you are not involved in the club.

Because you posted in a different font, for some reason I feel that what you say is important and am inclined to agree with you.

I understand that scouting players is a year long thing, but to be scouting a player with a view to even putting in a bid with 9 days left of the window is leaving it extremely late. By now we really should know who we want and have seen enough of them playing.
