Well the signal on the train I'm on is being a dick, but don't think I'm going to be missing a heroic comeback somehow.

I blame Schmidt for the performances in this World Cup. We've been poor since he announced he was leaving. Poor timing with that.
Fuck off, blame the one guy who’s made your team better than it’s ever been and the only reason why they’ve been able to beat NZ simply because he’d chosen to step down, some fucking thanks that is.

I'm blaming him for announcing he was leaving with a year still to go.

Not blaming him for making us better. Chill out there buddy.

When should he have announced?

Just unlucky draw if anything.

Maybe don't announce it until the World cup is about to start.

He announced it over a year ago and we've been poor ever since he announced it.

So you can put a lot of it down to that. I certainly do as do a lot of Irish people

Ireland don't seem to be doing any thing that they usually do. It's like the game plan went out the window completely.

If that is the reason then it's more the players fault than Schmidt's.

I think Ireland needed a try right at the end of the half there to stay in the game. Can't see them coming back into this now, they're seemingly determined to shoot themselves in the foot at every opportunity whether it be through sloppy play or giving away stupid penalties.

I don't know 1 Irish rugby fan that will not be sorry to see the back of Schmidt

Even if we had got a try NZ will still out score us in the 2nd half

Shite tournament from us and this has gone as expected, so many mistakes and stupid from POM at the end there with a chance to get points on the board.

I’m still blaming the extra rest for the all blacks :cautious:

I'm not saying its right for him to go. It's a shame hes leaving and this is his last game.

I'm criticising the timing of the announcement. Not sure why it's hard for others to understand.
