Entertaining is depending on how one sees it.. No doubt they are always breaking with speed after various interceptions and closing down on high energy intensity.. And more often than not balls are fed over the top to be chased by a very fit 29-year-old.. But still, stats don't lie.. They do have a very low possession and passing rate that is almost not seen for a champion-to-be.. Really abit like Greece winning the Euro.. And that to me is really a flat brand of football one probably wouldn't see in other leading clubs in their respective leagues in Europe.. Even Dynamo Kiev, Zenit, Fenerbache play so much better..

Sour grapes.

Why shouldn't we have sour grapes? I don't want Leicester to win it! Are we meant to be happy for them?!

EXACTLY THIS.

I've lost count of the people telling me I should be happy that Leicester are winning, and that it's bitter to not want them to win.

No. I want my own team to win. I couldn't give a shit about Leicester, or their story, if they're preventing us from reaching our goals. Especially if their fans are being twats about it.

Maybe we should not be so disrespectful to leicester as they have done great and been on one hell of a journey.
But rather we should look at ourselves a bit and accept that we may have helped handing it to them a bit with too many draws and not winning games in which most of the time we have dominated in possesion and attempts on goal.
Chuck in the home defeat to them plus the no show at upton park and the poor equaliser that allowed the goons to get a point and us to drop three.
Yes i know all teams drop points but the mark of champions is that you drop fewer than the rest of the pack, Leicester have done exactly that three defeats and of late five one nil wins with obviously clean sheets, that is what gets you over the line.
Dont get me wrong we have done very well better than expected and the future looks in good hands, but like last year in the league Cup we look again to come second best not bad of course but first is where we all want to be surely.

No, sour grapes which seems to be affecting ones judgement on how Leicester are playing football and saying nonsense like they are like Greece in Euro 2004 therefore diminishing their achievement.

I don't think you'd find any Spurs fan who is happy for Leicester to win the league.

We should all remember this is a very young squad in their first complete season with our new manager.
If we end up just being in the CL for next season they will have done well but everyone of them will be as disappointed as us fans for not winning it this year.
Every other supporter (near enough) and the press will be rooting for Leicester so it's a really big ask for our youngsters.

You would think some people support Leicester on here such is the defense force at times.

I have no problem saying fair play to them but the praise at times is over the top, they seem beyond criticism and any levelled at them is instantly "sour grapes"

Even if it is sour grapes why does that matter? Do we not have a right to be sour considering a team has come from bottom to top in the space of a season in seemingly suspicious circumstances (that latter part just being my opinion) during the one season we have a clear chance of winning it?

Enough of this fairytale bollocks, we are in direct competition, what if this is the last season we compete for the title in a long time? Should we celebrate Leicesters achievement? Should we praise them for such a great job? If this was Arsenal in Leicesters position with the same amount of money and same circumstances over the years would we be celebrating their success?

I doubt it, I know I wouldn't.

OK, but they aren't in fact stopping us from reaching our goals. We were never aiming at winning the league. Top 2 is overachieving compared to our goals. We have simply not been as good as Leicester during the season as a whole. Hence they are first, we are second. Am I HAPPY for them? Heck no. I just can't be bothered to be angry with them. (As long as their achievements are due to natural causes).

Our league position is outstanding. Beyond dreams. Ironically, I think many would be more happy with 3rd than 2nd, because 2nd is so close to the top we fail to see the forest for all the trees.

In the midst of fighting for a really good table position, we can't forget that there is plenty to work on from this season. Lots can be improved upon. Nobody has stolen the title from us, we are not worthy at this specific point in time. But we are on the verge of becoming a long term top PL team, if we do the necessary work based on this season. Improve and reach further. That's the kind of shit that wins titles. Not "what if's" and "maybes" and if only those in front of us weren't as good as they are".

Let's come together and celebrate where we are at in the moment. It's worthy of sum joy and excitement. You want to not care about Leicester? Then celebrating the results we do have so far is the way to do it.

Leicester will crumble, we just need to be there to pick up the pieces when they do, which i am not entirely sure we will be.

I'm more concerned with ensuring we finish top four. if we lose to utd and they win their game in hand they are three points behind us. top four is not nailed on. stoke and chelsea away not easy. its going to be an amazing last six games. we could overtake leicester who have four of their last five games as all possible defeats west ham utd chelsea and everton all tough. we could finish anywhere between first and fifth or even sixth.

i honestly couldn't predict it only to say if we beat utd then i think top four is more or less certain.
