I wouldn’t personally say it’s as simple as some boo’s or not boo’s.You haven't been following Spurs for long enough, Tottenham boo boys have been around for a long time ,
always love the John Pratt Billy Nick quote
I had been getting it in the neck a bit from some of the sections of the crowd at Spurs but Bill expected his players to be men, and he said that the crowd paid our wages and were entitled to have their opinions. So one day, before I was due to play my first game at Old Trafford, I asked him what I could expect. He replied that it would just be like playing at Spurs, except that up there 55,000 people would hate me, whereas at Spurs it was only 45,000!

Its was quite common to hear a slow hand clap in late sixties and seventies at the Lane plus later at WHL under George the boo boys at work . And don't forget Conte's first home game boos at half time mainly from the south stand.
George upset with boo-boys
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).www.tottenhamhotspur.com
I was there during the GG era and that wasn’t a great atmosphere because he was an ex-gooner it was bordering on toxic yes but it somehow felt different to how it does now.
Id actually be really interested to get perspectives of the different age groups, for example how do the older generation fans feel the ones who have seen our success in the 60’s-91 and then also how do the younger newer fans feel who haven’t been through the tough 90’s and building up 00’s.
Of course every single individual fan will have a different perspective regardless of age but I wonder if there is a pattern and certain age groups are more worn down than others or if right now there is just a big collective feeling that the last 3 years of shite football and bad football decisions following from poch have worn people down and the lack of a clear exciting direction as well as the new stadium being bigger and much more ‘corporate’ maybe some of the fun of supporting Spurs has been sucked away a bit.
I think quite simply if we had a manager who played a possession attacking high energy style of football and hired players to fit that style and we could see an exciting project to get behind and we had a team which you knew would attack and be brave and try and dominate and win games then the crowd would slowly feel more positive again, there would be more songs and it would all be a snowball effect building back to a positive atmosphere and match day going experience as there is no reason why the beautiful shiny new stadium can’t be an electric exciting place to go and watch our team play but right now the fun and soul has been sucked out of the club.
The uncertainty around contes future with us and perhaps kanes also won’t be helping, I think a lot of fans feel like we are a ship out at sea in a storm with a captain we don’t like or trust (Levy) a manager who we don’t know if he wants to stay or not and who at times can be quite cold (Conte), it feels like we are a lost boat with no one who we can trust to read a map and even if they could we can’t agree on which direction to sail anyway so it causes this build up of frustration and actually a sense of just giving up, I heard from my dad and sister and mates who went yesterday that as soon as we went a goal down the crowd just basically gave up supporting the team as the performance was just all too familiar and there was nothing to give them hope that the rest of the match would be any different.
