I was on the train home when I was arguing that Levy isnt to blame. Ultimately he is to blame but its his decision to get rid of Poch (not allowing him to rebuild) and then hire three managers who, in my view, should never have been managers of our club to take that mantle on. I can see why Levy wanted them, and I do think he wants a bit of success but ultimately I really thought none of them were a fit for the club - think Levy tried to hire the so called best to win.

Ironically, we bring back Poch to do what he said we needed three years ago. Whish is down to Levy

Singing songs and the protests will make him feel slightly uncomfortable but until everyone starts what I've been doing for the last 3 years and simply doesn't spend any money on Spurs and Levy nothing will change. He is all about money. Once his spursy ( thanks for that nickname Teflon) Spurs stock starts to fall and the valuation drops he won't even begin to think about selling. The incompetent bald fuck.

The Trust just need to call ENIC out now and sod the consequences, enough corporate nonsense and pussyfooting about, or at the very least we need a movement, it's the old adage of individuals having no power but in groups you can effect change, I'm not silly enough to think we can force a sale but a united fanbase that genuinely makes Levy uncomfortable, really uncomfortable, and lets him know how badly he's running the football side, and what the actual fans want to see, some serious boycotting of the shop etc.. but I'm fully expecting Poch and all is forgiven, rinse and repeat.. get out of jail..
I think I'm more angry today than after the game, prone to militant musings..!!

The only thing that would cause him to pause for thought is if everyone returned their STs, cancelled memberships, did not buy any tickets or merchandise and left the stadium/allocation empty home and away. None of that will happen. He will only move on when it suits him.

Great example today for me of why it wont change, so pissed off with the performance last night, i decided that i didnt want to go through it all again on Saturday, so put my season tickets on ticket exchange, thinking that no one is going to buy them after last nights shit show, how wrong could I be, both sold within 2 hours, while we still have fans that are that gullible, (thanks whoever bought them) Levy and ENIC will stay and not change

I think, maybe Jose and Conte were supposed to be the antidote to the Poch era (lots of promise, but nothing to show for it)
Unfortunately it didn’t work out, although as a Levy supporter, even I think it was a bad decision to Sack Jose the week before a cup final.

Think it's just worth pointing a few bits out because genuinely it's that laughable that sometimes it's seems like its actually not real:
  • Pissed Poch off that much with lack of backing that he won't accept any signing in 2 consecutive transfer windows.
  • First club to go two windows with no signings
  • Overruled Poch on the sale of players including dele & ended up costing the club tens of millions
  • Sacks Poch
  • Appoints Jose & doesn't back him
  • Sacks him 4 days before a final & we remain only club since União de Leiria in 2001 that he hasn't won anything with
  • Signs us up for Super League
  • Hires Paratici (see below)
  • Spends 10 weeks trying to replace Jose
  • During that period does a rare interview and talks about DNA of club and learning from mistakes
  • Appoints Nuno with less than 2 weeks to go before preseason
  • 10 league games later sacks Nuno
  • Goes on a solo run and appoints Conte.
  • Doesn't back Conte
  • Paratici banned from Italian football for 30 months and is realistically going to get banned worldwide & potentially a jail sentence
  • About to sack Conte and we'll be the first club since Sienna in 2011 where he hasn't won anything (see Jose comment up above)
  • One of the clubs best ever players, if not the best, has 12 months remaining on deal and won't sign a new one so Levy has a choice this summer of selling him to a bigger club in premier League or letting him leave on a free

It's some litany of failures and bad decisions I don't know whether to laugh or cry

This is something that gets overlooked imo. Everyone credits him as being great on the business and commercials, but look at how much he has pissed away on compensation and/or holding onto players too long.

Edit. My favourite recent deal of his is the swap we do with Seville (Lamela for Gil plus a fee of £21.6M) where Seville end up with both players. Nice work Dan. Fucking asshat.

Isn't this exactly what is happening? Levy runs the club and Paratici runs the football side of things. Nuno was Paratici's appointment. Conte was Paratici's appointment. Paratici finds the players and does the deals. Paratici picks the manager and scouting staff.

Paratici was Levy's appointment and maybe he's not the right man for the job, but I can certainly understand why Levy appointed him.

She has according to the journo's at the athletic and prior to being more involved she had previously applied to work at Liverpool, so she is in to football

If your dad owns Spurs why would you apply for a gig at Liverpool? Actually, fuck that, I’ve just answered my own question 😂😂😂

It is very common practice for wealthy company owners to arrange placement of their offspring in companies in a similar business to their own in order for their kids to get experience of how other companies work.. If put in their own company nothing new is learned and people won't tell them Dad's way is wrong.

Anyone reading this & STILL defending the man, is on the wind up.

Countless times he’s let us down & it’s about time the fans ALL pull together, to show our displeasure.

The only thing I would add to your excellent post:

Buys Doherty for Jose
12 months later buys Royal for Nuno
12 months later buys Spence for the club
6 months later buys Porro for Conte and due to the loan situation has to give Doherty away whilst paying up his contract.

Next summer we will have 4 LWB on our books - Perisic, Sess, Reggie and Udogie - Plus Davies who plays there as well

so Conte goes, we have nearly 10 full/wing backs, crap CB’s a keeper that’s past it, no creativity in midfield, a Star striker leaving another in woeful form and a moody Richarlison.

fun fun fun

We are going nowhere on the pitch until he goes. Unfortunately think we are stuck with him for a long time yet as I'm not convinced he will be in favour of a takeover unless its crazy money. Only hope is if that dried prune over in the Bahamas or in Patagonia causing misery decides he wants out and actually pushes something through.

Changing managers doesn't bother Levy. Does it so often now, at a stage where it probably just feels like he is changing his underpants.
