You take it with a pinch of salt unless it fits your own narrative, I understand that, that's the internet in a nutshell.

We've (Tottenham) have obviously become unable to scout and target central midfielders that don't play for top tier talent and won't cost as much as our record transfer signing. If that's where we're at, then we're fucked.

I don’t really have a narrative, I have an opinion that we only spend what we earn through sales and until we do more than that my opinion can’t change.

I agree we’re a bit fucked but because those players that will genuinely improve us are more expensive since the Neymar transfer. A young Eriksen say now is £50m+. If we have to sell in order to buy we’re just going round in circles and we won’t ever make that next step up sadly.

gets far too easy a ride at times for me, yet again caught between two things. might as well rested the whole first team squad than play the clusterfuck of a lineup he went with. as soon as I saw the first 2 minutes with walker peters and GKN on the left I knew we would get beat. 16/5 was like a freebie. does nothing to prove he gives youth a chance, plays kwp on the left where he clearly is as best half as effective whilst continues to play utter shite like trippier and the running joke that is llorente, why not just start sterling.
Taking verts off at half times was as good as waving the flag. so we have hardly given our youth players useful match time and gone out the cup as meekly as possible. as for his post match interview he comes out with utter bollocks, didn't even look like he believed it

Bet when they are both retired and going back over their career. Jose’s story features at least 5 times more trophies than Poch’s does.

Playing the game and making demands is part of the job of a successful manager I think.
Thing is, not saying you do personally, but many of our fans express their love for Poch (he is fantastic) but why do they express their joy of him being Spurs boss? Words like respect, the way he conducts himself, what he has brought out of players on and off the pitch etc etc etc ... If you were to exchange that for just say for example the Mourinho way, would people feel the same?

We won’t win anything this season which means we will have only won 1 trophy in 20 years, that’s shocking
No trophies this decade, I don’t think Poch fully understands how long it’s been and how much the fans wants us to win something even if it’s only the League Cup

Trix’s info about Poch is genuinely worrying if he really feels the youngsters are good enough.

I’m sick of seeing this obsession with the academy. KWP puts in a moronic turn and clearly isn’t better than what we have already.

Skipp is nowhere near ready. Literally Llorente is tragic. We have such weak squad depth. If we lose Eriksen and Toby in the summer we are fucked.

Jan is 31 ffs. I think we’ve peaked with this squad. There’s no way we replace Toby and Eriksen with like for like.

You have to question Pochs judgement if he thinks it’s so difficult to improve the squad and also his ability to bring players in. All our best players were either already here before Poch arrived or were identified by others at the club. Everything seems a mess.

Our manager just doesn’t seem to know how to improve the squad.

the only feeling that matters is when you win something and enjoy it.

don't take it very serious. We don't know exactly whats going on. As was the case in the summer we were told there is 150 mil plus player sales money to spend and we spent none.

there is no way Eriksen who is 26 now is going to stay and sign a new contract for a club who think finishing in the top 4 for the next 5 years is over achieving and I cant blame him.

I love Poch but sometimes he makes me angry

Emphasis on the most important thing for Tottenham, not the players or fans, Tottenham Hotspur football club. Doesn’t make me that excited personally for next few years but what do i matter (checks bank account to see if got enough in it yet to renew season ticket).

how man times chelsea finished outside top 4 in last few years and how many managers they have changed. THe main point is that they won pots and the big ones. PL, CL,EL e.t.c
Nothing I can say to you will sound good, I'll be accused of being small minded so I'll leave this convo here. :)

We need top 4 more than ever for next season in the new stadium.
Poch didn’t make KWP handle the ball or Tripps to miss the pen!
With all our injuries There’s little more he can do.

Oh fuck no, I wouldn’t want that at all! I was suggesting Poch does all his demanding behind closed doors, as I suspect he would, being a generally all round classy chap. I’d never encourage anyone to air dirty linen in public. That’s scumbag behaviour. Real men don’t need to make public digs to get their point across, they deal with the situation head on by discussing it with the correct people.

It's been mentioned how often Levy and Poch speak, I know it could be classed as papering over the obvious cracks that could be there, but I guess the mere mortals amongst us will never know.
