I really didn't get that vibe watching the Sky Sports coverage.

Ah - that was your mistake. You may as well have watched MUTV with Tyler and Neville as commentators.

I read 4 or 5 different newspapers
(Websites) and also subscribe to the Athletic and try and get as many different views as possible. Most media outlets have a heavy bias depending on who their leading journalists are. Martin Samuel hates us for example.

THFC….. the soap opera that never stops giving…. Can you imagine (no disrespect intended) supporting a team like burnley - no manager turnover every 2 years, no major expectations in the EPL / cups, no dramas of super leagues etc. no real chance of pulling off any major coups…. Never change Spurs ?
Remember that show on Sky, dream team?

What a breath of fresh air. Been so hard to care about this club for too long.

Yes, a massive adrenalin rush just when we thought everything was fucked and our spirits and our enthusiasm was seriously wavering. It's time to start embracing the positivity (not exactly something we've been used to of late).

It has and when we hired Jose I thought that was a statement of intent but I think this is more serious than that.
If he has agreed to come then we have to be prepared to back him and I think he can deliver, we are only five points off 4th so who knows CL could be possible.
Whatever way you look at it this is a serious statement of intent by hiring one of the best managers in world football.

As much as it will stick in many people's throats, Daniel Levy deserves a bit of credit for finally waking up and smelling the coffee and getting this done. He's now hired a DoF and a manager that most of the fanbase have been crying out for. Paratici and Conte have worked well together in the past so there's reason to have a bit of hope. I seriously thought Newcastle would throw the kitchen sink at getting Conte.

Imagine Man City thrash Utd at the weekend (entirely likely). What do Utd do then?
