Simply the calm before the storm of an announcement i feel. If Valencia still weren't happy we'd be hearing about it throughout the day. But their chairman has not said anything now since yesterday morning - which for him is a record

They are talking to clubs for a replacement and told us they want some time to look for one! I think they want soldado to put a transfer request in but cant see that happening!!!!

I would be happy to try and either develop one of our own (not Obika) or go and buy a young raw striker. The thing is though that if we do have a young'en as third striker we need two good striker for him to learn from. With Soldado coming in (prays) I see Defoe as the one to go, because Ade can offer something slightly different (if on form), though in terms of learning I would rather have a young one learn from Defoe who imo is a better professional than Ade.

Most definitely think Valencia have been told to stem the leaks. Its so bloody quiet out there right now. Ultimate best case is that we have been locked in talks all day long and one of our heavyweight ITKs will have a really nice update for us sometime tonight when the clubs break off for the day. Its either that are we have backed off for just now and there has been no contact between the clubs today.

Do we know if Colecott ever came back or is he still out there ? That could be a good indication.

I'd say it's almost certain that he didn't come back, at least not with Baldini anyway. We saw pics of Baldini at the airport, had that kid who claimed to have chatted with Baldini (and had his pic took etc), yet not a single mention of Baldini being with anyone.

Oddly enough this is how I feel as well. I take the silence as a good thing. We were unhappy w/ the way Valencia was handling their end of things (press leaks) and let it be known that if that stuff doesn't stop we're moving on to our next choice (Lopez?). Valencia caved and started backpedaling on their knees. I think this is all wrapped up by week's end.

Also, I apologize for the earlier mishap which involved improper use of the free dildo which resulted in deletion of a few posts. Sometimes these things are a little hard to handle.

Or maybe sod all has happened hence nothing to report. Valencia have made it crystal clear they want the full buyout clause, "not a penny less or a penny more" as the president has said.
