I'm really surprised Llorente isn't on the move. His club really want him gone so I thought they would shift on the price they were asking for him. I didn't think he would come to us exactly, but I thought someone would get him.
Their treatment of him has probably pissed him off to the extent that he is happy to sit tight and wait til Jan when all the power and money will be in his lap

Ian Dowie and Dave Bassett, just listened to them "talk" for 5mins on SSN - No idea what the fuck they are saying, 2 unintelligible baked potatos.

I'd like to be excited about Lloris but until Moutinho signs I'm finding it incredibly difficult to be cheerful. Selling VDV and so far not replacing him at all.....

Totally agree, it all hinges on Moutinho now, Levy simply has to deliver or he has weakened this side considerably and not backed the manager, whilst tasking with him reaching the top 4, which isn't realistic unless he gets this vital signing done.

Lloris done will be great - really important. Love Granddad but if he hits shite form we're back with a rusty Gomes...

Build from the back..

Anyone still got the faith?

I had, but it's wearing thin...

Lloris I think will come off.
Moutinho, I can't see as we would get this far, bid this much, without knowing his terms. Should come off.
Llorente, odd one. He's isolated himself at Bilbao, thought we'd be attractive to him.
Beyond this, I just do not know.
Dempsey has been linked, but I think he'll end up at Liverpool.
There was talk of two Real Madrid players, but no names.

VDV has gone, Levy is past the point of no return. Our two most creative midfielders have been sold, and we are one striker lighter than last season, plus VDV's goals.

Levy has to replace to goals and creativity he has sanctioned selling if AVB is to have any hope of maintaining our quest for a CL place.

He simply has to deliver now, that's what's making me stay vaguely confident.

Lloris, Moutinho, will come. Llorente, less positive, but we need a striker from somewhere.

This situation does raise the question of why we signed off on the VDV deal until we were certain Moutinho would be arriving #NotGoodEnough

Checking my phone for updates every 5mins....

Feels like ive just text 'that hot girl' out for a date!

Longer it takes worse I feel. Maybe her phones run out of battery?

Maybe Moutinhos phone has done the same??

there isnt gonna be another striker/winger is there :-(

I'm actually a lot more worried that the Moutinho deal is dead in the water. Ideally I want a striker and a midfielder, but midfielder is the top priority for me.

hertyid re: Moutinho:
not heard anything on moutinho since we agreed a fee last night. all i know is he's been a target since avb was interviewed, avb is great friends with him and i cant believe we werent aware of the numbers involved.

Is that about his third party ownership? I can't believe we didn't know about that. It would be pretty amateur.
