IF Moutinho flew with the rest of the Porto squad there is no way that the bid was even accepted in the first place. Just wouldn't have happened.

Disagree. There's still a chance for the deal to break down, so it makes sense for Porto and himself to be on the plane to their next game so he'll be prepared if the worst was to happen (for us). They'd looked pretty foolish if the deal does break down and he misses the game tomorrow because he's sat at home.

I think the best we can hope for is that Moutinho's agent is in discussions with us, and he will sign before the deadline subect to a medical. There is no way he'll just ditch the Porto squad and get to London tonight...

not heard anything on moutinho since we agreed a fee last night. all i know is he's been a target since avb was interviewed, avb is great friends with him and i cant believe we werent aware of the numbers involved.
