Well something's definitely happening. But I still think the £50m-£60m spouted by Akqa was bullshit. I'll happily apologise to him though at 11pm if we're sitting pretty with 3 shiny new players.

In Four hours the malignant dwarf could be hailed as a hero and be inundated with calls and e-mails from ecstatic fans offering him free use of their wives/mums, or hasty plans will be put into place by thousands of irate fans to tar and feather him and carry him up the High Road on a flagpole wearing nothing but Chirpy's mankini and a paper hat.

Who did say that then? The last I remember was Akqa telling everyone Lloris was done 'Duty Free' stylee and would be unwrapped on our return from the states. Was it 'done' again after that? I can't keep track............I must be getting old

And I also agree with this! Akqa started well in this window but has just annoyed the feck out of me more and more each day. With the amount of names he has mentioned he was bound to get something right but the constantly wrong dates and times has dented him badly. I have no doubt he has info but his handling of that info is reckless. Only doing harm to his own reputation.

Bar the Late pick up on Lloris, JJ has been his usual fine self by not ranting like the above madman hence why his standing is good and why he is held in such high esteem.

I did that last year and spent the entire day with data roaming turned on and hitting refresh over lunch, dinner and drinks - talking to no one while mumbling / rocking to myself while the wife frowned the entire day.

Cost me £150 in data charges too... Don't do it!
