Not at all. It's been a perfectly decent window.

I think we've accepted our position as a consistent Europa qualifier. There's no chance of competing with the 5 powerful club. Just look at who they are signing and what they cost. We're better off consolidating our position as 5-7 in the league and pushing for the new stadium.

Our own Chairman has shown that he isn't satisfied with that (hence the repeated managerial firings). That's really the big problem here. We don't want to engage in any net spending, but the club's brass expect top results. When said manager fails to achieve the unrealistic expectations, he's shown the door.

Great. We kept them for another year. Doesnt mean anything when we fail to make CL again. There going to want to leave. As will Eriksen and probably Lamela. They deserve CL football. Levy doesnt make the necessary transfers to make that happen. He just doesnt.

Agreed, fingers crossed .. I bet Poch is wondering what to make of Levy, thats two managers on the trot now that havnt got the one player they really wanted. If MS signs before midnight i'll eat my words but i doubt it. Liverpool got in there first thing and signed their two before Southampton realised that their squad was being picked apart, we dragged our heels and have not given Poch the one he wanted.

I don't think that's necessarily true.

Harry was shown the door for reasons other than on the pitch results.

AVB was shown the door because our football was utterly appalling.

Sherwood was never a long term option.

I doubt theres going to be any more signings. Sandro and Fryers will go. But thats it. Levy wont be spending money to improve us. None of our signings are anyone who you can say will be inserted into the first team without question. Just depressing. How can Levy continue to sell false ideals to the fans and players when his transfer activity always says otherwise?

Like we are going to try for Rodriguez & Schneiderlin in January

And the sad part is we will be buying it
