Need to move Sessignon and Perisic on. Not sure Gil will be suited to Ange's style of football, does'nt score goals.
I wasn’t even considering sess and peri. I meant richie son gil. But yeah richie and Gil might well not be suited. I would imagine richie is earmarked to rotate with Kane as we are told ange makes a lot subs.
If we can get are money back for Richie I’d go for diaby

I think Richarlison has got to play up top to be effective so you need Son and one other on the left. Just don't think that will be Gil. You need all your strikers and attacking midfielders to be able to score goals. Gil just does not do that. If you can get 20m for Gil and perhaps get Soloman in on a free you can use the money to get better priority targets IMO.

Even Amazon (where I assume most people shop) makes us maybe £5 a month at best.

I don't really understand these things - if we want to buy something from Amazon if we click through on one of the adds do you get a fraction of what I spend or is it only what the advert is advertising?

Is there a fixed place for the link to amazon?

It seems a very simple way to help and as you say most of us shop on there at some point or another.

Click the link (banner is on homepage down the right hand side), anything you buy gets us a %. The % changes slightly depending on the product but it's a few % normally. It should also remember you so anything you buy in the next week or two after clicking should also count.

How about a range of designs with ironic references to past transfer windows. Leandro Damiao, Elvis / The Beatles, The Magnificent Seven, cabbages (this perfectly sums up how most of us felt at the end of that window).

Or that theme could be used as a perk for regular donators: an SC-designed avatar that references that person's first transfer window as an SC member.

Probably all too much effort though...

EDIT: @Rob sorry I saw "Back to ITK!" after posting this.
Or postcards or pdf downloads. Cheap to produce. Following Lo Celso’s possible flight is another. Back to itk.

Done that before, it raised 50p or so. We just don't have enough diverse traffic to really generate anything from that. Even Amazon (where I assume most people shop) makes us maybe £5 a month at best.
I do mine from EBay. Can you use them somehow?. I don’t know how these things work. Being an oap my income is set and things here are spiralling so not as capable as was.
Hope members and those that just look in help out with your financial problems.

It's a two-fold problem to some extent:

1) Advertising revenue has dropped off a cliff and as we keep seeing, Google keep trying to push the really annoying (full screen, pop-up, etc) ads. If we allowed them, it could well pay for itself but it really ruins the site.
2) We need a server that can handle the insane traffic for about 2 weeks of the year. We have to pay for it for the whole year though. It'd be a fraction of the cost to support the server for a normal boring week in November or March. We've looked at options for "on demand" type pricing before and these just never worked (or they got really ridiculous really fast). So we're paying a premium to make sure we don't go down at the end of January/August.

At the minute I'm reasonably happy. We do have to pass the begging bowl around a few times a year but that generally works well and means we can avoid going down the Football London route with all their adverts.
Not sticking my oar in were not wanted. However at the company I run, we are in the process of analysing our digital busniess. So I have some pretty cool software that shows your sites performance/outreach and multiple metrics to assess opportunity etc. Would be happy to run them and email you the results as the software is pricey to purchase.

As machine learning is taking over in the Google ad space etc things will change pretty rapidly.

Bristol City are getting good offers for him, and as things stand I think he'll end up in gold. Nothing set yet but Wolves pushing hardest as of this morning. We are 100% still holding an interest and monitoring the situation, but I don't see us moving for him until others are moved on, if at all.
just realised you can click 'trix said' to get to the post

Solomon is 100% someone we are interested in and it doesn't take a genius to realise that this is extremely likely following our announcement a few days back. Looks extremely likely that he will join us. Just makes so much sense, especially on a free. He's 100% worth the risk.

Solomon is class and won’t expect to start every week which is ideal. If it frees up funds for quality centre back(s) let’s do it 👍

really liked what I saw from Soloman the few times I saw him. Was mainly as an impact sub but he always looked lively and direct. Can pick a pass and was pretty efficient with his distribution in the final third with both feet. Certainly low risk with a high potential
