Though I didn't mean that he'd have to be registered for the squad, I was just pointing out that he's still bloody young but at an age where we now need to see if he can cut it in the PL. So if we could give him enough minutes to aid his development, great, let him learn with our 1st team, whilst playing our brand of football. If we can't give him enough minutes, loan him to a PL team..

Oh one more thing. I was talking about Luongo (in response to another poster who said we could do with a young understudy for Sandro), though judging by the birthday you mentioned, you were referring to Carroll?

I agree as regards Carroll. If we can get two top quality strikers I think we can challenge on all fronts, in which case I think Carroll could get quite a lot of pitch time. However if AVB won't give him that time he should go on loan until the January TW so we can get him back if we want

As regards the birthday again you're right it was Carroll's the day before yesterday. sorry I didn't realise you were referring to Luongo. As he is only a few months younger than TC I think he should also go out on loan again this season.

EDIT: again if he is not likely to get the pitch time he needs!

His contract is up in December (guess cause he plays in Russia)
Ive read he turned down a new contract and his current wage is roughly £40k.
