You're quite right. This is the ITK discussion. Not sure how we got sidetracked. So what's up with Ali?
No one knows. Agents cousin says coming. Agents nephew says not sure. A board whose members are all claiming to be family with the agent is saying another thing. In other words, complete train wreck there. If he signs, we'll hear shorty i'd imagine

What got me about the ITK info was that that it was a 'done' deal. Done is done. Not 95% done. And now it seems the deal is not so certain. We'll soon see the truth of the matter.

I think we most likely may not bring anyone in...... Poch utilizing Dembele as AM which is kind of working and could gel better with more games.

Unless we bring in a high-quality consistently creative midfielder, I will have no expectations for the outcome of this season (in other words, my expectations wouldn't change at all).

It's not going to work long term; never does.

He played one good ball to Harry Kane against West Brom, then he went back to his usual slow, safe game-style.

Could see those rumors of a Lambert loan swirling back in if Ade does go on loan. Not opposed personally, as with how things stand I think that'd be an upgrade.

Would be total madness not to replace ade. A injury to Kane and our season will fall apart.

Well so far we've booked a trip to Wembley, beat one of the league's best sides in years, currently have the EPL's top scoring midfielder and striker (in all comps), and are successfully contesting for UCL footy--all in the first year of Poch's reign. So unless you're expecting unicorns and an olympic medal, you might want to remember how things were looking this time last year:p

Seen it all before; we still lack consistency, and one of the reasons we lack players capable of consistently creating chances through sublime passing & touches.

I'm not saying things haven't improved drastically since this time last season; I even think it's been better than the season before (when we had Bale), however I still get the strong sense that the team as it currently is, doesn't have what it takes to finish top 4. The last time we had a team like that was the first half of the 2011-2012 season, with Modric & van der Vaart cutting teams apart with their insane passing, complete with an on-fire Adebayor, a rock-solid defence lead by Ledley King, and a fit Gareth Bale among many other things.
