Or Levy does, we've been chasing him since Redknapp was in charge.

Levy isn't an idiot, if the scouts and other staffing members were all saying that he wasn't the right player for us he wouldn't continue to pursue him, as it would make no footballing or business sense. JJ and every ITK have commented that AVB is a big fan of Leandro, so can we give the anti-Levy rhetoric a rest.

I'm pretty sure every transfer window I've read ITK that says we have many irons in the fire but at the end of window, we don't end up taking one of those irons out.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that just because we're linked with a lot of strikers that we'll definitely get one. But whereas before it was clear that Leandro was our main target and we didn't have many other options, it seems we're looking at a number of strikers at the moment.

The only opinion that matters to me is AVB not the rest of the committee and I'm pretty sure that AVB would rather bring an alternative striker, than pursing Leandro late into the window and possibly ending up with nothing yet again.

Leandro still looks to be the main target to me.

7 pages isn't bad but I'm on holiday. Anything worth mentioning from today.

Plus Im with a guy who's connected within brazil. Financial markets. But I've asked him if be can see if any deals ongoing. His a fucking arrogant prick so far. Said he knows Shakhter looking at a few Corithanians players. Anything else will let you guys know.

We have lots of options from first choice to last choice but were only going to sign our first choice players if they fit into what ever strict financial criteria we have set within which we are willing to sign x player. By the end of the window we will probably end up at our third choice a best.

That is your opinion which as far as I am aware is not supported by the facts.

AVB's stock is rising once again so there is no need for him to stay with Spurs if Levy is trying to buy players he doesn't want/rate.

Of course it's my opinion. AVB is much more diplomatic than Redknapp, he doesn't give much away. AVB wants a DOF, he's been saying that since last summer. If he was totally happy with Levy and the board he would surely leave things as they are and not want to change it.

There is a small thread about him in transfer rumours. He was seen as a potential star a couple of years ago. Only Daily Mirror though so no place in here......

I see I see. He scored a hattrick in 6 minutes once for Spain u21 so he must be a world beater o_O

Only seven pages at nearly 5.30pm

Poor show today :barefoot:

It was a great show. No ITK and JJ made a comment in jest and nobody took it out of context or then harassed him. It has been quite a remarkable day by the standards of this thread. (y)

Edit: I miss the old thumbs up. This one looks like he's giving it sarcastically. And my comment isn't sarcastic all.
