Realistically there are not that many teams that they may prefer to us though:

In Spain: Barca, Real and maybe Athletico.

In Italy: AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus

In England: Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal

In Germany: Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund

Others: PSG and Monaco

Out of all of those clubs I can only see Arsenal wanting Villa (maybe Monaco), and both Dortmund & Athletico wanting Leandro. So the players waiting for bigger moves shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I don't think Dortmund pay better wages than we do. Somebody that follows them might know better. But even so, under Zorc/Kloepp, they have only paid significant money for one player. They are more moneyball than the Oakland A's ever were (mostly because they actually won shit )

EDIT: Found a great piece by Swiss Ramble on their economic turn around. Their wage bill is 80m Euros (70m GPB) per year. The last article he did on us, had our wage bill at 91m GPB.

I understand that clubs here and there have made agreements etc that have been publicised, but in truth the window doesn't actually 'open' for another 25 days. Granted we might hear some snippets about meetings with agents and accountants but can't really expect anything (especially left field) until this happens.

This is when contracts run down and start also. We'll just have to be patient and just wank and watch it for now?

One of the all-time greatest sins of this site is that too few posters realize that JJ has a great sense of humor. I think most people would jump at a chance to have a beer with 'em because of Spurs info. But he'd probably be better for banter. I knew someone would do that ! Just a hypothetical example pulled off the top of my head ie. AVB loves Hulk but he went for 40m odd and big wages in a deal that did not represent good value for money.

It's the least important part of my post as its just a quick example that you could replace with whatever you saw fit
