He tweeted a picture of Wilshere as a kid in a full West Ham kit, just when I couldnt hate that shit more, it turns out he is a west ham fan, explains everything

"HUGE wage demands"
Exactly nothing new for people on a free to demand high wages and huge sign on fee, they know their next contract is pretty much a 6 month auction and they will go to the highest bidder most of the timeDrats.
To be honest, what other game did we all think Holtby was playing by running his contract down, if not to earn himself a very large contract ? To be honest, now that I think about it, and think about how sought after he probably is, his wage demands could easily be sky high/outrageous to a club of our means, if his personality/entourage influencing him, were of that disposition.
Schalke UK news @Schalke_UK
Well, Bild claim Holtby turned down Schalke's offer to double hiswages (€3m a year instead of €1.5m), and asked for €5m.
That's not that high if true.
€5,000,000 = £4,056,175.00 / 52 weeks = £78,000 / week.
I mean, it's large for a young player that hasn't proven anything in a tougher league, but it's something I'd be willing to offer considering there is no transfer fee and his future sell-on value potential is MASSIVE.

"HUGE wage demands"
I'm sure there was ITK about him turning us down in the summer (If you believe the ITK that is)
While I agree to an extent, "football club prepares to spend money abroad in transfer window" is hardly surprising.I'm surprised there's more posts about Adam suter and whether his info is reliable and less about WISHKAH's post that someone is working on his previous portfolio... This is singularly THE most exciting news the past 2 weeks for me, as Wishkah was thoroughly itk and informative about the financial side of things.. (and given the thumbs up by people who know how things work)..
Iirc he also worked on the money for the ade deal...
Liverpool just cannot stop signing overpriced distinctly average British players can they. Hilarious.
