So apparently Dortmund are open to Sahin returning and he might be 'set free' from Liverpool. He was awesome for them before going to Real Madrid. Maybe they will be open to listening on a midfielder such as Gundoggan or Perisic should he permanently move back to Dortmund?

Generally speaking I agree, but Akqa knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing and he keeps on doing it. I really do hope that one day he sees the light because i'm pretty sure he does get the odd bit and it's a shame because he's ruining it for himself.

So until that day comes, his Tweets aren't really welcome and anything he says should be taken with a great big factory full of salt.

Not so much Akqayid, more Saxayid.
Agree wholeheartedly from the brief look I've had at his Twitter feed. What's most remarkable is that he seems to be a fully-grown adult, a very succesful businessman in several fields - recruitment, marketing and digital media, yet he spends about nine tenths of the waking day spewing out this speculative tittle tattle onto Twitter with apparently little foundation, using his real name and image.

Personally, if I was so heavily involved in the media industry at a high level and it was my business, I might not use my real identity in quite the way he's doing, quite as often.

Anyone hear anything regarding Gomes going to Brazil?

Was this just a vacation or has there been any additional information?

I find that to be the most intriguing plot line at the moment. Unless of course he is going there for a wedding or some shit.
@Adam79Suter
There is no truth in Gomes being part of any deal for Leandro Damiao. He is away with his family and looking for a club at same time #THFC

Seeing as Gards says he's legit, that's what he had to say on the matter earlier.

Thanks a lot.

Actually, it's kind of interesting that the Adam Suter guy posted that. Had he been the attention-seeking type, he might have used that rumor as a way to build up his views, etc. So to see him opt for what might be the truth at the expense of getting more followers might lead more towards his overall credibility in regards to the Moutinho stuff. If he were all about the attention he'd just say it's true and that Gomes was part of a Damiao deal.

I'm sure the rich, successful guy with the hot wife would appreciate your advice on what is and isn't suitable to discuss on his personal Twitter account.

I thought he was considered to have a good source last year?

I know he gives his info in an umm.. unique.. way, and it definitely needs to be filtered by the reader, but has he not still got that decent source?
Just for you TL, I took 5 minutes out of my life hunting down a post I made the other day about it. Five fucking minutes. That's two bunks ups in A&C land...........

Some people reckon he gets info but gets over excited by it. They said that about adiepf too and that didn't turn out very well. It was pointed out to Akqayid by us that he wasn't doing himself any favours but he chose to ignore that.

His info was clear and more or less reliable right up until the point when he became a Twitterer. That's a different animal. You have 'followers' to cultivate and keep happy, the old ego kicks in and that's when this 'excited' stuff started happening. If you're on Twitter and you say nothing, what's the point? So you have to say things. Regularly. Gotta keep the followers happy after all. Duty Free, Lloris is on the plane etc etc

So does he really get info? Yeah, I think he does. Does he get 'excited' by it? Personally, i'm not so sure. I think he got caught up in the whole Twitter thing, fucked up and hopefully, he knows it*.

A few weeks before I opened up TR he was offered the chance to return to SC with as clean a slate as we could give him and the protection of SC and the rules and I got no reply. So right now his stuff no longer gets posted in the Read Only and it'll be interesting to see how he goes now he's closed his Akqayid Twitter account and is posting under his real name. One would hope he's learned from the experience**. Maybe at some point we'll start using his stuff in the RO again. Time will tell.

*The odds on this are lengthening.

**The odds on this are currently off the scale

or he's a clever sod and hedging his bets. There are not many swap deals that actually happen, are there?

Just being hypothetical here, but say we take Villa on an Adebayor-type loan but with the option to buy in the Summer, and then sign Moutinho. Where do you think we finish?

I'd say, if Villa stays healthy, we are a lock for at least 4th.
