considering DL's fantastic relationship with Jose and the fact that DL spent alot of time trying to pursuade Jose a few season's ago, i think its more than just a possibility...

I agree. Plus, at least we'd have more chance of signing a top striker if he was our manager.

He does spend a lot of cash wherever he goes though doesnt he so Levy would have to loosen the purse strings.

Me

I've believed it for the past few years and still think it'll happen :p

Not sure if anyone on here remembers our "Mourinho for Spurs" campaign before he won the UEFA cup at Porto :p

Hahaha!! That was awesome. I genuinely believed we were getting him, too! :bang:

you do know that gold and sullivan have told their supporters in a meeting on monday that keane is theirs and will cost them £2m for loan and a further £6m if they stay up - they were their cocky arrogant best and informed the spammer fans that they would get him cheaper as we are desperate to sell and we have informed Keane that he will not be in the 25 man squad.

im not saying he wont go there...im saying its not done & everton have now come in for him...

he may well go to west ham, but everton have turned his head & he also has property in liverpool

Jose always have good things to say about Spurs also, i think he has a soft spot for us and would come to us if we needed him and he was bored of winning everything at Madrid, or pushed out if not won the CL

Regarding any movement. Surely outgoings are more likely than signings. Gio, Keane, O'hara. None of them will realistically feature for the rest it the season. We need to trim our squad to fit the 25 and get their wages off the bill. You would think we're actively trying to offload them and they leave, qt least on loan. If we are to sign a new striker Pavlyuchenko will need to go too otherwise the position will be well over subscribed. Regarding Diarra. As much as I like him, we have modric, Huddlestone, Jenas, Palacios and Sandro. Can Redknapp justify signing another CM before selling?

Well, according to the Beeb yesterday, Villa asked us to name our price for Jenas. £18m should do it.

Agree about Diarra. Though even with selling one more midfielder, I don't see his value to us, or if he'd get games. And what then was the point of signing Pienaar?

But if Liverpool were his boyhood club, as oft quoted, would he want to play for their arch rivals? I would rather not play at all rather than join the Goons.

I respect Mourinho, but I don't like his football so I don't want him as our manager.

If Mourinho is available Citeh will throw everything, and then a diamond encrusted kitchen sink his way to get him to manage them. He'll never come to Spurs.

I would sacrifice the way we play for football, for the league, if meant Jose being manager.

The other thing with Mourinho is he seems to get bored quickly. So we'd only have him for a year or two at best. And what then? Beg Jol or Harry to come back?

As for keane, he is only interested in himself. Ive mentioned before that it wasnt long after DL bought him a VERY expensive kettle (watch) for his wedding present, did he then ask to be allowed to leave for Liverpool, DL, wasnt too happy. Mind you a similar thing happened between DL, MJ, Newcastle UTD and a Porsche....

We sacrificed our way under George Graham. Remember the 99 League Cup Final? I only remember the result and it being the least exciting match I have ever watched.

I still think an incoming striker is massively dependant on Pav leaving. Apparently Harry is very reluctant to bring in another striker while we have VDV, crouch, defoe, PavSo IMO an incoming striker will only be a possbillity deadline day if Pav decides to move on.
