Charmander (Japanese: ヒトカゲ Hitokage) is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I.
It evolves into Charmeleon starting at level 16, who evolves into Charizard starting at level 36.
Along with Bulbasaur and Squirtle, Charmander is one of three starter Pokémon available at the beginning of Pokémon Red, Green, Blue, FireRed, and LeafGreen.
It is also available in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, after obtaining all sixteen badges and defeating Red.

We're buying someone who can help us beat Arsenal

When Pav goes. Don't expect an immediate replacement on the day he's sold. My source tells me that he will be gone before Monday. His replacement will be signed on the 31st.
Between now and the last day of the transfer window we will be bringing in a defender (GAV).
There will be out goings as you are probably well aware by now some on loan (O'hara, Woodgate, Sandro) some will be sold (Keane, Palacios, Kranjcar.)

Don't Worry chaps things are running smoothly. We will have replacements.

who or what does (GAV) refer to?

Whenever I've seen Ratikic (Which I'll admit is not often; when England have played Croatia), he's come on and gone up-front as a second forward. I checked his wikpedia page and it seems he is a midfielder, but:"While playing at international level, Rakitić has also been referred to as a striker as used a few times in a more forward position by current coach Slaven Bilić. However, his midfield ability is also used to great effect combined with Croatia's touch and move football which sees many passing along the pitch and also gives him the ability to make many runs on the left flank to create attacks.[16] He has shown a great knowledge of offense in many games, and his delivery and unexpected shot accuracy are also among his strengths."So it seems he can play as a striker.

so he's a bit like VDV in that respect.

That's how it happened with Bent and Crouch - Bent went and Crouch arrived a few days later.

No offence, but if you really believe we will sell six members of our squad, including the very important squad member Palacios, then you are horribly mistaken. Not even we could afford 6 outgoings.

So if said striker decides to back out of moving to us on 31st? Leaves us open for disappointment surely? Risky strategy no?

This reminds me of the Berbatov situation. This time Fraizer Campbell is injured:bang:

What's the deal A&C? No round up, oversleep, or is the sheer enormity and complexity of this thread beyond your ability to condense into one easy to digest round up?

go on, rise to the challenge and take the bait!

i read it as some of those 6 mentioned, not all.

presumably we've had a sizeable offer for Palacios given the rumours about him possibly leaving.

i would imagine Harry might consider selling him and bringing in Diarra as a replacement if we could make a profit on the deal.

o'hara, woodgate and keane haven't really played all season, no particular reason for us to keep them anymore.

sandro on loan for experience again might make sense if huddlestone is close to a return.

and niko wants off, so i guess we will sell him, plus again he hasn't played a lot and Pienaar was surely his replacement?

That's true, but then 3 of those were loans, which have been widely expected to happen, anyway.

Add to that Keane and Kranjcar who have been told they can leave at the right price.

Can't see us selling Palacios, mind, even though Stoke were rumoured to be interested.

Thought i'd do an update from yesterday. Not sure if all is in the right order because its a bloody long thread and there's no search feature. It may not be as great as those A&C kindly does but what the hey..

We start the day out with much anticipation once again.
is this a transfer window or the Hokey Cokey?
Nope, it's more like a version of Eastenders only its a lot longer and there's a lot more screaming and shouting. At least nobody is pregnant with Modric's baby yet.

We then had some super ITK..
2 out today if things go as expected.
But when do things ever go as expected? As we'll see later on. The poor server never saw it coming :-(
from JTG on COYS

just heard a rumour (and please only a rumour )
Mickeys asked about Pav ........
Mickeys being Liverpool not Wolves

We then got excited about...
RT @ianprior Major - and boy do I mean it - football exclusive coming up on guardian.co.uk sometime around 5.30.

Please be Spurs. Please be Spurs. Please be Spurs.
Many were expecting something exciting about Spurs. This lead to some more speculation about Mourinho to Spurs. Which was only fueled more by...
From Tango 97 on COYS:
From a very good source (well connected former England player).

Harry replaces Fabio.

Jose replaces Harry.

Within next 7 days.

Not a windup, passing on in good faith.
Well i've never heard of you Tango 97 but thanks for passing on, but then more fuel to the fire came by way of....
Skyderen via COYS:

"For those saying no chance, just wait, it will be all over the media soon."
It may well be in the media soon, what with them trauling through these very sites and all

Then after a long wait and various sites crashing we finally got the huge scoop...

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jan/27/inter-40m-gareth-bale

The server was really on the ropes at this point.

We then had some proper ITK about...well nothing really...
Archibald said:
NO PLAYERS HAVE BEEN HERE FOR TALKS.

THE LODGE WAS QUIET TODAY....- The players had a day off- a few staff were in..

Discussions ongoing although no agreements for anyone as yet and yes there are options but not loads!

Agents are talking and clubs but no players in talks as yet

expect 2 or 3 more out (2 probable loans) and a maximum of 2 in at the moment...(one will be loan)

i have no names- Sorry! and ultimately the club arent 100% on the final outcome as yet! so not sure how others can be so sure
Well that sure cheered the place up. Thanks a lot Archibald, now if you wouldn't mind breaking more news for me when i'm about to die

We then had..
Ryantegan said:
Guys its not concrete, but from what I have been told, without pissing on anyones fires.

Its Diarra Loan, pending the nod obviously from Real. And Forlan
Phew. Something to at least be positive about.

POTL then gave us this...
POTL said:
Patience is a virtue. Patience is a virtue. Patience is a virtue.

Fingers crossed.
We've been patient for a striker since the summer now :bang:

This was shortly followed by the "final" piece of ITK by Adiepf which was very long but basically outlined what he has kindly passed onto us during the course of the window.

This lead to many trials and tribulations on the case of Adiepf and whether he was the ultimate WUM, or the more plausible explanation that he's just a genuine Spurs fan kind enough to pass on what he has been told.

So yet another day had passed and this place has become more tense than constipation on a first date.

Henry Winter on Twitter at MCFC presser - Johnson may go out on loan

That's why I hate those bastards...buy players just for the sake of it/to stop them playing for someone else, them don't play them (Adebayor, Johnson, Bellamy - all of whom imo could get into any side in the league), it's disgusting. Chelsea did the same years ago (Wright-Phillips, Parker)

Sorry guys, not overly relevant, just fancied a rant.
