But it is simply not true. With four days to go, we will get rid of six members of our squad? We will let O'Hara, Sandro and Palacios go from a position we are already short in. It is simply not going to happen.

Fulham have Kakuta on loan
West Ham have got Demba Ba on a perm deal
Birmingham have got Martins on loan

Where else can he be sent off to? Everton? Haha.

I agree, but surely just in terms of submitting a 25 man squad we need to get rid of 2 players from the following, assuming that we don't count King and Khumalo:

Woodgate, GDS, O'Hara, Niko, Keane, Sandro.

Then for any other players that come in we need to ship out the equivalent number.

Totally agree with you on them buying players to stop other clubs doing it. It's been happening in Scotland for years with both Celtic and Rangers doing it.

I thought that the 25 man squad rule was brought in to avoid things like this happening.

Btw - off topic, but the fine handed out to Blackpool yesterday was a complete joke. How can you have a 25 man squad rule and then fine a club for picking 11 players from it?

Yep, massive apologies, it was Michael Johnson , but the point still stands for Adebayor and Bellamy. And still a shame for Johnson, he was such a prospect a couple seasons back.

I'm not sure about Canada, but there was one about him going to the MLS.
