Info also potentially ties in with Jasper's update 345 where he said we had backup options in France (Pastore?) and Spain (Banega?)

Pastore is just what we need to knit it all together in that final third... Can't see P$G selling for a loss though.

Haven't seen much of him. What's he like? Creative?

Two good feet. Very good in possession - always looking for the ball. Like a more flair-y Modric, more attack-minded, though not as efficient as Modders was/is.

A true, exciting number 10. The link between the defenders and the front men.

Just looked up his stats - they won't blow anyone away but then neither did Modric.

Siggy on speed.

IMHO.

In theory it would be a good time to move for Pastore given his relative struggles in France. Stock is a bit lower etc...

Could it be that the other club is PSG in for Bale with Pastore part of the package deal?

Front 3 of Pastore - Soldado - Lamela would be lovely. Although I don't really like Pastore when he's stuck out on the wing, doesn't really have the pace for it either. Would be very classy as a number 10 though.

Ossie and Ricky

Erik and Javier?

Would be amazing to see another Argentine to keep Lamela company. A very good player. Goals, assists, flair and vision - and probably mega wages.

Pastore went for 40 odd million last time and the youtube compilation for 2012/13 I just watched was padded out at the end with stuff from his time at Palermo, 2 years prior. Not a great sign?

He'll be way overpriced & seems to be somewhat of an ineffective luxury player.

£10m-£15m? Maybe worth a punt
A likely £25-30m. Fuck that.

I'd tend to agree. I personally would happily pay £15-20 million. Anymore and we're just spending because we have the money too. No need to get anywhere near the £25-30 million bracket.

Remember huge taxation on wages in France. So huuuuuuge wages in France = slightly less huuuge wages in UK

Prob by about 40 %
