I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ve move on already. They want miles more than we can afford.
We may well have moved closer since he was given the update. You don't arrange to have a sit down meeting say this is our offer, and just walk away when they say no. That's all business not just football.
So its basically either agreed tomorrow or doesnt happen? If that 48hr stuff is to ne true or whatnot
Negotiations are still ongoing.

I'd assume as long as talks are progressing any deadline will be forgotten. You don't walk away if you are getting close just because you've set a voluntary deadline.

Arabat looking likely.

Traore issues are and always have been Mendes and him not yet getting other things in line for Wolves. To say we aren't happy about it is an understatement. If the Barca stuff is Mendes I think we could well walk away.

Not the only players we are talking to. ;)

Conte would want Traore. It’s no lie, that he wanted him when he was Chelsea boss and Traore was wing back at Middlesbrough and Conte also tried when at Inter. Whether he would be Contes primary target knowing there’s an opportunity to get Diaz, who knows.

We did send a delegation to Milan for Skriniar and came up short. That was pre-Paratici however.

To be fair to him he got the Romero deal over the line. Hopefully he can do the same with Diaz.

Your updates always fill me with such a sense of calm and mindfulness.

...which lasts about 5 minutes until I walk away, start making my own stories in my head and angrily return to the forum to moan.

Seems Mendes is involved with the Diaz negotiation as well. This parasite has his hands on every Portuguese transfer. If we are truly peeved with him as @Trix said, I can’t see his involvement helping the situation. And sure enough news coming out of Colombia that Liverpool is preparing a bid. Either that’s legit, or Mendes once again feeding info to alert other teams. Tiresome…

Well, you could argue that all of the following became full England Internationals after coming through our academy or signing at a young age as a cheap / youth purchase

Kyle Walker
Danny Rose
Harry Winks
Dele Alli
Harry Kane

Don't forget Ryan Mason and Jake livermore. Both got England caps and came through the academy. Both were proven prem players. Mason unlucky with injury.

Could be a case of Mendes realising he could be burning a bridge with antics on the Adama deal so offering another Carrot for us to nibble on. Also the barca interest in Adama could just be a tactic to get more money off us be it in wages or a fee.
