I think Chelsea late interest is a ploy. Beneficial to Kia for us to up the price. Sky report it and fill a few column inches and take another round of bets from some fuckwit chavs.

Rumour is that it's mata to utd for rooney and they get willian as a replacement.

Which is utmost stupidity. Your best player and 30-40m for rooney?

I bet it's all a ruse by Levy. He's got this thread open on his PC and he's pretending to be the puppet master, we're all getting Levy'd.

Earliest itk update ever!

Re the goat. Does it matter, if anzhi now only want to sell to Chelsea as they've offered more?

A nice early morning bleat from The Goat there. Surely things are too far advanced with us for Chelsea to get him now?

Yup.. its really silly.... its like trading Ronaldo for Torres type of deal. I dont think Mou is that dumb.

I would love to know more about the intricacies of a transfer. Some of the ITK is saying that the deal is too far along to be reversed. Is it because there is a countersigned offer? Money in an escrow account? What is the paperwork/assets required to complete a transfer and at what point is it irreversible?

I remember us getting scales. Unless everythings signed it's reverseable. I guess.

The player could always refuse to terms with Chelsea if WHL is where he wants to be. Anzhi gets to choose between 30 mill from us or nothing.

Just look at the Torres to Chelsea deal (or the Carroll to Liverpool deal) - both parties agreed fees and did the paperwork in each case but due to last minute wranglings, neither deal ended up including talent or finishing ability!

Really hope we get something positive on Willian today.

Sadly my head says that if Chelsea are in for him that's where he'll end up. I just hope they left it too late.

This likely going to hinge on what Willian wants.
Does he truly favour spurs over chelsea? If so then he will likely sway things into going our way. If he is happy either way, then we have a problem.

Anzhi can screw around all they like, but Willian doesnt have to sign squat with Chelsea.

Oh and JJ's post regarding Bale... Bring It On!! Screw Real Madrid.

Fingers crossed that a few things get sorted today. Some up to date ITK on Lamela, Chiriches, Coentrao would be good.

If their bid is true i think he'll choose them. EL vs. CL, probably more money, better shot at winning something all leads to them.

Let's just hope it's all club/agent tactics

Tough day yesterday. Things are usually quiet on a match day as well but that was ridiculous.
Nothing negative regarding lamela though who will be the jewel in the crown.

Sounds like a planned move by Chelsea, while we are very far away concentrating on a game Chelsea put a bid in for Willian. A lot of Spurs officials would be at the game and AVB (who might help the deal get moving) is busy with a game and won't be in London.
