Poch wanted ndombele, GLC and sessegnon. Sometimes it’s best not to give managers players just because they want them.

I agree, to an extent, and I also agree with everyone else's point about DOF model with Paratici and Nuno as Head Coach. However, most signings coming in will be Paratici's so if Nuno wants one signing in Traore to help his style, I think that is a decent trade-off.

Nah I don't buy that.

Ive seen enough of Wolves and Traore to know as much as he's always a handful there's no good him creating space and pulling defenders towards him when he can't play the right pass to make it worthwhile.

People will say what a "handful" he was today, he had more of the ball than anyone but did absolutely sod all with it. I was happy to let him have it. As i said before, if he was half decent at scoring or passing or just making the right decison half the time he'd already be playing City or Chelsea.. There's a reason he's still at wolves.

By the same logic there is a reason Kane is still at Spurs...

I’m not the biggest Traore fan, but it’s glaringly obvious we need someone who can carry the ball beyond the midfield. I honestly forgot GLC was subbed on today, and who knows if we will ever see Ndombele again. Assuming we keep Kane, the finishing of Son and Kane more than makeup for Traore’s lack there. Would be interesting to see what he could do with us, because he certainly terrorizes defenses. Think it’s a gamble, but an educated one with Nuno’s experience with him.

Don't be so silly. Kane is at Spurs because he's worth minimum £160m and City don't want to pay it.

Traore is still at Wolves because he's not good enough for a Top 6 team.

He's probably worth around £30m which most teams would quite happily pay if he had some fucking end product.

If he had some fucking end product he would be worth £100+m

Good job we finished 7th last year then! I'm being slightly facetious here but I really don't think we are as much above Traores level as many think.

JJ in reply to someone asking why our DoFs are on the bench

"Scouting"

One could guess that this implies Adama
Hope I'm not jumping to conclusions but that may be a little hint they were shouting Traore. It certainly seems to be a very good possibility he comes.

Or I've just made something completely fit my agenda ?.

Coady? Mind you I didn’t see if he actually played?

Edit - he did and didn’t get great reviews

Look mate, I do get why alot of fans on here would like him at the club, i'm not completely against it, he's a very exciting player.

But we have enough wing forwards right now that can't make the right decision on counter attacks, Moura and Bergwijn for example.

I've really enjoyed our counter attacks the last 2 games but the amount of times we've been in 3 on 3 situations more so against City and the last second decision making was wrong was worrying, I don't think we need to add another fast dribbler who can't make the right final ball to the list.

If you're going to play counter attacking football you atleast need your front 3 to make good decisions and be clinical (Which Traore isn't) when the chances come your way.

I just think he'd be an exciting mistake thats all.

Just got home from the game, anyone who wouldn’t want him in our side needs their head wobbled.
He causes absolute chaos. Might not get the goals and assists but our other forwards are light years ahead of those at Wolves and the space it would create for them would be unbelievable.
Best thing about him is the “Bums off seat” factor, every time he got the ball it created a real atmosphere. Massive upgrade on Stevie B in my book.

I was more referring to our transfer targets generally, like the young lad that we're gonna loan back. Just one minute we're gonna make signings to improve the first eleven, and the next we suddenly have faith in last year's flops again.

Not entirely against Traore, but one minute it's Martinez and Vlahovic, then the player's being rumoured to join us are hardly inspiring

Strange argument when he's meant to be the guy who chooses our targets and in which position.
