Is this after dildo gate?
Yep it seems so. Such a shame, something similar last night would have almost made the coverage worth watching.
Is this after dildo gate?
Or look at like this...
Did anyone buy a striker backup this window?
Stoke - probably a first choicer
Everton - Yes
Andddddd the list stops.
Agreed, Ground, Vardy, Rooney (well maybe)... These are all players that if they were to be injured their clubs have virtually no backup for.
I think we will be OK.
By your logic we can play Son and Chadli through the middle then. No problems then.Pato for Chelsea, Doumbia at Newcastle, Naismith at Norwich, Charlie Austin at Southampton, Benik Afobe at B'mouth, Jordan Rhodes was available too.
Arsenal can play Sanchez, Walcott or Welbeck through the middle.
Leicester have Ulloa and Okazaki.
Utd have Martial
He was rushed back and got injured again, he's back in rehab.Makes me wonder if Poch is still waiting for Jay Rodriguez.
no no noHe was rushed back and got injured again, he's back in rehab.
What is this?We are delighted to announce the deadline day signing of Cotton Wool in a cut price deal that went through at 10.59, a minute before the transfer window slammed shut.
Cotton's legal representatives have expressed surprise by some of the hidden terms and conditions they missed before advising their client to sign this 5 year deal that may prove very lucrative to Spurs should he be sold on, and Spurs also have a first refusal buy back option. Cotton's representatives are desparate for detail of this contract to be kept private and not leaked to the press as they are said to be embarrassed at having the wool pulled over their eyes.
Pochettino is hoping he will provide the perfect foil for Harry Kane, offering him some much needed protection on match days and on the training ground. Kane is said to be unsure about his new strike partner as he is already feeling suffocated by all the attention.
Spurs had initially been tracking for Bubble Wrap for most of the January window but were not prepared to meet his overinflated wage demands and there were some concerns about his all round attitude and work ethic.
Real Madrid are said to be keeping tabs on Cotton Wool to see if he develops into a world beater at which point they will use all means fair or foul to unsettle the player which will be accompanied by non stop drip drip stories of a transfer to the Spanish giants, in preparation for this Cotton Wool is already having secret Spanish lessons should this materialise.
Whilst Pochettino is willing to give this exciting young prospect a chance to prove himself and Cotton Wool is said to be really excited at joining such a fantastic club, he is under no illusions that should he fail to offer enough protection by not working hard enough in double training sessions, he may find himself frozen out of this close knit squad and eventually loaned or sold off to Sunderland or Newcastle.
Any post with the words Levy and Minge in it are alright by me.I thought I'd got through this window really well until I punched a guy in the face solely coz he had a yellow tie on this morning #buyafuckingstrikerforfuckssakelevyyouminge
This has the potential to be a fairly binary outcome:
- Kane stays fit and on form, and we get some of these players in the summer for a lower fee, and Levy's gamble will have massively paid off
- Kane doesn't and we potentially ruin a fairly rare opportunity at a crack at the top
Fine margins eh?
What is this?
Oh...What kane needs to be wrapped in.
Yep it seems so. Such a shame, something similar last night would have almost made the coverage worth watching.
Abdo is all suntan and make up and Sawyer is just tits on a stick. Hayley is where its at.I only watched it to ogle at Kate Abdo, Hayley McQueen and Natalie Sawyer.
Not really binary though is it. Kane could get injured and N'jie (for example) could come in and do the job and we still get a crack at the top. We aren't as reliant on Kane as some would make out.
He was rushed back and got injured again, he's back in rehab.
no no no
The way I've looked at it since the summer, is that we have six regular goal threats who can fill four forward positions: Kane, Son, Alli, Eriksen, Chadli and Lamela.
We've also got a number of others who with a bit more work could join that group: Dembele, Onomah, Carroll, Mason and Nidge.
Basically, any team would miss losing a player like Kane, he's special, but we've got a lot of players who are very effective around the opposition box, even if they aren't traditional strikers...
