I read the JJ post more like "not this Falcao nonsense again, i'm not even going to comment on this"

Falcao = Never going to happen.

~Any legal experts in here?
Really struggling to understand some American legal terms this morning. No nearer to finding out the answer too.

AVB unsettling players? Maybe it's the players he wants rid of? I have no problem with this

Disagree and agree.

I'm sure JJ would just respond with "Never going to happen" if that was the case.

JJ's tweet has been rendered null and void by the spotty kid who started the Falcao talk last night. He himself admitted he made it up to "see how optimistic Spurs fans were"...

Have no sources or info at all just wanted to see how optimistic our fans were, sorry if I've let you down, think wel get a few big uns tho
and then:

Thanks for the follows tho and personally I'd love Falcao at spurs

I expect Ade will join this week, the delay may well be the pay off from Man City in that whilst Ade stalls, City start to sweat as they want Can Persie but have concerns he may not join if Ade is still there. As the clock ticks, although City dont want to be seen to give a striker away for free, RVP may be joining someone else. Think of it as a Mexican stand off in which Levy will save himself possibly a transfer fee or having to pay higher wages, once again proving he has the cojones when it comes to brinkmanship. Unless a Chinese team whip in, offer Ade 200k a week and we miss out but it's worth the risk. I'd bloody live Falcao though, just read his Wikipedia page and he looks awesome. If that one came off I'd put a bronze statue of Levy in my lounge.

AVB did say there would be nothing done while we were away and he was going to use the tour to assess the squad. He'll know our weaknesses very well now and I expect we'll see significant movement on the transfers and maybe their return will also see some more action from the ITK's.

Agree.

I also think that Lloris is not a major priority and Levy will haggle as long as he can on that deal (i.e. deadline day deal if it happens).

We won't bring in another striker, or even have an real ITK linking us to anyone until Adebayor is sorted one way or the other, as bringing in someone else why that deal is still being resolved could bring a swift end to it if he thinks he'll not be first choice.

Defensively we're sorted barring any unexpected departures so there'll be no movement on that front.

Which only leaves midfield, which we'll clearly start buying player(s) when the Modric deal goes through.

So likewise i expect very little to happen until we sell Modric and get Adebayor deal sorted.

I agree, unlike with Ramos, AVB does have an excellent grasp of the English language and unlike with Ramos we've just spent millions of pounds on a state of the art training centre and so i can't see us getting into a similar style problem like we had under Ramos with the regime change. So if those players who are put out by actually training like real athletes rather than a couple hours of Harry style light jogging per day want to leave, then so be it.

Lloris needs to happen soon or it won't happen. No team is going to sell its GK with no time to replace them.

It would be like selling all your forwards with a day to go.

Hey do you think JJ might have been talking about the 5th amendment?

... But seriously, Falcao is not even a story. A dream. I'll be shocked if we get him.

I've been thinking about this whole Man City hardball stance with Ade, and why would they say in the public domain that 'yeah, we'll accept a v.low fee for the guy and give him £5m' It makes them look like mugs. So I'm ok if they take this tact in the media as long as behind closed doors they're just saying 'get this guy off our books whatever it takes'

not ITK related though, so i'll just shut the fuck up...sorry.

Like Berba and Keane :) . Maybe Lyon have lined up Frazier Chipmunk to be their new GK
