come on Biz.........post it for us!!

It's up to Biz if he wants to post it or not. For whatever reason he's had grief from people on FTL for posting what was one of the most insignificant pieces of ITK we've had all window. Let's draw a line under it now. Any more discussion on who is right, who is wrong or begging for it to be posted will see the posts get deleted.

Can't see that anyone picked up on JJ's comment on Falcao last night. Someone asked him to confrim the latest rumours are rubbish and he replied he's taking the 5th. Interesting as previously he has always dismissed this.

Can you put the actual quote here? 'Taking the 5th'?

In the US the 5th amendment to the constitution is the right to not to incriminate yourself. Using it is called "taking the 5th" or "pleading the 5th". It's the equivalent of our legal term "No comment".

So JJ is saying "No comment" which is quite different from the previous outright denials

Taking the 5th - refers to the Fifth amendment to the American Constitution - a person's right to remain silent to prevent self-incrimination (i think).

It's American law, the fifth amendment or something but ultimately it means "i'm saying nothing on that".

5th Amendment from the US constitution. It protects people from incriminating themselves. But is generally used when people wish to remain silent.

The Fifth Amendment is the part of the American constitution protecting the right against self-incrimination. "Pleading" or "taking the fifth" is something done in court by a witness when asked to give information that could get them in legal trouble. So it could mean there's something to it...

And the way it's being used by JJ here is VERY interesting. He normally pours cold water on rumours he considers untrue.

Must be a reference to the US 5th Amendment.

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

So the info on FTL early last night not been posted? Hmm. I thought everything went on SO and COYS too.

I assume you mean this from Slim Shainy who was pretending POTL had said something:

two bits of info

1st is from within a source very high up in spurs. he made a comment that AVB has already unsettled a few of the players. not sure who or whats the problem. maybe the double training or the high line is my guess but hopefully its just teething problems.

2nd is from someone at bilbao. we have made a bid for lorriente, the asking price is 30m euros and our bid is not far off from that.
please dont post on ftl or other sites
It wasn't posted as it wasn't clear how much was a windup and how much was actual ITK from Slim Shainy himself.

So do we have anyone on COYS / FTL / SO forums who could take a look for this ITK Bizness has spoken about?
We do but as I understand it what was posted was a load of bollocks and I'm not sure it was actually posted by a recognised ITK
