'Blow bloody Daws off'

Clearly Danielle Lloyd has been brought back into the club to help make sure he accepts Hulls advances

Although that kind of 'service' is more likely to make him stay.....

Thought Jair1970 was being sarcastic - whether it was right or not was another thing.

Hopefully we see some movement towards the end of this week, and full activity next week, just before the window ends. You’d like to think signing a centre back would be priority and possibly fast tracked given United need several as well.

Aye Ms Lloyd... Now there's someone who has had a serious barren spell for spurs in recent years... wasn't she banging 'em in left right and centre for a while and then nothing!! Forget Daws and Kaboul, she's the one who has lost the requisite yard of pace and is clearly not suited to the modern game...

trix: Have just heard this is becoming more likely. Apparently MS's peopls are looking for an exit stratergy that suits all parties. Most likely outcome is that Deschamps and France will be blamed, and saints couldn't stand in the way of his International career. Heard a couple of other bits that I will post a bit later when I get more time so I can explain them properly.

I'm not happy with the obvious answer to the cryptic that has been repeated about 15-20 times now so is it something far more tenuous? o_O
I understand you are having a bit of fun with me amongst others, and that's fine. I don't mind.
However, just because you all jumped on this Daws-bandwagon right away, doesn't mean that's not tenuous too.
One sentence in one ITK is a line from a song that was used as a soundtrack in a film with a quote that has the word "Doors" in it, and "doors" almost sounds like Daws. How is that not already quite far-fetched?

And the waiting game begins....

Exciting info on MS from Trix!

When Koeman said at the end of his interview...'we hope'...that was the first sign of weakness for me.

The international career excuse does seem to be the way to go though. Perfect for Southampton to save face.

It's easy for a "saga" like the MS-transfer to become an obsession. We should also consider how good he is compared to what we have to pay. Is he 10-15 mill good, or is he above 20 million good?

I'm thinking 10-15 then great, but if we have to pay above 20 then we could use those funds on more critical positions...

There is definitely an end game here and it suits no one for it to linger past this transfer window.

Cos if it's right, it's a great cryptic and if it's something else, well, it ain't :)

I read it as another A&C threat to ban people who talk about bollocks on the iTK thread.

There's no ITK this morning (yet) so preserve yourself by not talking bollocks here.

If it's right it wouldn't be a great cryptic. There's nothing to lead you there. Cryptics, of the kind you're thinking of should be confounding until you get them, but there should be a trail which you follow, and once you get it it's bloody obvious. You've done the equivalent of find a picture of Jesus in a slice of toast!

The SC cryptics, on the whole, tend to be more simple, and they're not necessarily designed to be got...
