livermore is decent cover, but we are not manc, chelsea etc. you dont keep 7m rated players as 3rd choice when you need funds to improve. sell him, and get a free - 2m rated(maybe even HG) player to do his job.

As the ITKs have suggested if we sell Parker/Hud/Livermore we could get 15mil minimum I reckon with approx 110k a week off wages. Bring in Paulinho for quoted fees of 20Euros. So around that 15mil and he prob wont require the 110k. Then we have trimmed the squad. Have quality like for like replacements. Dembele can do a DM role if needs be.

That means Sandro, Dembele, Paulinho, Hotby, Carroll depending on the team we are facing are all competing for the 2 CM roles which is more than enough. Then we can promote Luongo as a backup in COC and EL. He can lay DM or box to box and will be learning from class players

The Journalist quoted something like £6m as the price Levy wanted Aston Villa to cough up for Naughton, and quite rightly wanted nothing to do with it, will be staggered if he goes for anything over £4.5m..
I concur with most that Livermore will do well at a mid table club and IMO him and Hudd will be replaced by 1 player..

Re the Barker/Norwich info:
Is it wise to use names of informants? It might get him into trouble in future or restrict his ability to pass on info knowing how soon a rumour on SC or elsewhere can make it's way to the press...

Wasn't really an 'informant' though, mate. Just a mate who used to be a young player (or something like that) but has now created the post of "school head chef", for himself . I don't think it's any different to 'olderyid' bumping into every football team in the world whilst on his travels, and telling us what he's found out.

And Pletikosa. I really liked our Croatian contingent and each one was an upgrade when they were brought in. I still think Corluka is a better RB than Walker and was upset to see Krank go and we all know about Modric.

Who do you guys think would be better, I dont think it's that clear cut to be fair. Modric, Kranjcar, Corluka, Pletikosa or Sandro, Damiao, Bernard, Paulinho
