That's YOUR view of things. He and his gent may think we are partly responsible for not paying up after we'd agreed personal terms.
It's not my view on things. My comment is relating to latest ITK.

No, he hasn't had too much to do but he's so assured in possession, put in a couple of nice tackles and had this driving run that reminded me of Vertonghen against Swansea away in 12/13I cant watch the match. What about his game is impressing you? Does he appear to be as weak in the air as everyone fears?
out of interest, how come everton can afford to end this year with at least a £36m deficit whilst we're looking at yet another break even? surely we've got more clout than they do?
Levy likes to keep the money in the bank as long as he can to earn the maximum interest, then he will spend it last day of the season.out of interest, how come everton can afford to end this year with at least a £36m deficit whilst we're looking at yet another break even? surely we've got more clout than they do?
Don't look at a transfer window in isolation, or for that matter talk about net spend, it's one of the stupidest things that football fans talk aboutout of interest, how come everton can afford to end this year with at least a £36m deficit whilst we're looking at yet another break even? surely we've got more clout than they do?
They aren't building a £400m stadium.

I'd still be surprised if MS plays for Southampton again, we shall see.
Posturing all the way to the wire I reckon. I don't really get what point they're trying to prove either. Every player has a price and they've had a clear out this summer and MS leaving, or not, won't affect that image.
My guess is that Koeman threatened to walk, his tweet of an empty training ground raised an eyebrow, once it got to MS and they've moved the goal posts as a result. Then you got MS's angry tweet.
nah it's just strange that this musacchio deal looks problematic & the schneiderin deal won't be pushed through. i wonder how much of it is actual "problems" and how much is just penny pinching
like i don't begrudge the man for his business dealings (he's a chairman, he should be lauded for them), it's just not the first time we've heard of a deal being difficult from the other end is it
I would be astonished if they could slap £36m on the table, its obviously very nicely spread multi year paymentsout of interest, how come everton can afford to end this year with at least a £36m deficit whilst we're looking at yet another break even? surely we've got more clout than they do?
It is a bit Modric the year before he left, where they'll promise him he can go next summer. Problems are, albeit a good player he isn't Modric where a top side will definitely want/need him next year. Also his stock has been high with a lot of thanks to Poch and Soton may not have as good a season and his stock could fall. Also next summer we may not even want to spend 17m and disrupt midfield with maybe Capoue & Bentaleb stepping to plate. I think it's now or never for us and him and even possibly now or never in terms of him getting a move to a top club.
Basically it all comes down to whether we up our bid massively. Right now the bid we put in was well below their asking price and they are not going to lose face by selling him under value. Their statements relate to this because they are confident we won't meet their asking price. A lot can happen over the next few weeks but we need to ship players out for it to be in consideration.
why would you decide to "draw a line in the sand" when there's only 1 player left... If they were gonna do that they should have done it after they had sold 1-2 players - not 5 or 6 or how many they have sold now.
Storts on COYS re Schneiderlin
