No more disco Benni, no more pirouette Parker, our team is going to lose funk & grace, could be more devastating than losing VDV & Modric.

He would save on the wage bill and he was fairly cheap. So it makes sense. Also, I imagine there is a certain 5-1 pasting with two diminutive Croats in CM where Harry actually forced Levy to do a deal he didn't want to that probably makes Levy angry enough to want to sell :D

HS, the bit on bold. That is the ONLY part that can be argued (is wrong). I just literally quoted HR, he admitted himself that he never saw KPB & listened to others. It is that which puzzles me & pisses me off. This man, Mr Redknapp, is supposed to be some sort of 'God like man manager'. He is the man who can get inside a players head & make him believe he's a world beater, no? Yet he never even took a look at KPB for himself? Come on HS!!

Like I said, the rest of your post is absolutely spot-on, even KPB came out himself & admitted that he was a dick (though I think he credited his change of personality to his girlfriend?).. Anyway, the obvious point is that HR, the man manager, never judged for himself, the ability of a player. Unbelievable Jeff!!

PS, not Klopp would've liked to keep hold of him to see what he could have done with him, as a "project". Stark difference there, no?

The one argument I would make towards that quote is that if he had senior players complaining about KPB, when he was trying to adjust to a new club, then perhaps he took them at their word. He was dealing with a relegation battle and took decisive action. I bet QPR wished he could have acted in such a way

The key part of the deal was bassong going to wolves. Harry had no say in that.

Contingency plans were put into place, I doubt Nelsen was the only option initially. I also don't doubt that he became the best option the later in the day we went

So chairman loans out unused player and brings in experienced player manager likes. It's not really being shafted is it ?

Who said shafted?

Just pointed out that given the option at the time Harry wouldn't have made the swap

Sorry, but isn't it alright seeing as he was in conversation with JJ?

Could cause problems though. I could tweet JJ and say "got some great news about Bob Carolgees...I'll send you a message in a minute."

Doesn't mean anything really.

Yh but I mean it's different to if @Agent1929939393 posts "Messi to Spurs"

I personally dont see the problem if we post a person's conversation with JJ as we do it all the time...

It was more than just 'efforts'. Maybe you didn't mean it that way, but it sounds pretty denigrating to me...?

He was well below par this year, but does anyone remember who our player of the season was the one before?

Probably not up to the standard we need any more, but let's at least give him the credit he deserves.

Er... yeah, I can't type anything without seeming sarcastic.

Apologies LORD PARKER OF TOTTINGHAM.

Fuck did it again ;)
