No. We'd win easily.

Because, getting to that final would imply a big(ish) change in us. We'd be firing on all cylinders. We'd be more confident whilst they'd obviously be far more scared than they otherwise would. But at the same time they'd have to remain a kind of favourites and be under more pressure.

Presuming we didn't fluke our way there and have half the team out with injury, I just can't see how we'd lose. We'd probably overwhealm them for a brief period and then the match would be a bit of a damb squib.

First off, I'm not entirely sure I'd be able to watch that game. I'd just be pure shitting myself and not able to enjoy the occasion!!

Second - if we lost, I wouldnt socialise with ANYONE,h including my fiancee, for at least a month.

Third - If we won....fuck wouldn't I let people know about it!

baaaaaaaaa You leave her out of this, baaaaaaaaaaaaaa

The club could bring out a dvd of our victory and put it in a box set with our recent 2-3 thrashing of the ArseScum, and the approaching thrashing of them at the Lane.

They could bring out a counter DVD of their victory in the CC:razz:

Has the final ever been Real/Barca, or Inter/AC before? Has one city ever managed to get two teams into the final like that?

Mil1licent summed it up, it would be "Epic".

Who do we think the neutral would favour? I'd like to think we'd have more followers across the globe. I think we'd still be considered the underdogs in the final, but the most exciting of underdogs. I can imagine people getting behind Gareth Bale because he's so amazing to watch. With Lennon on the other wing too, I think people would genuinely be excited by our flying wingers, Luka and Hudd looking so classy on the ball and VDV pulling off the tricks.

I'd say in England we'll be backed by most, simply because we have so many English players. It wouldn't be like the old North London derbies where Arsenal had the likes of Adams, Keown, Platt, Merson and Wright. Those were the days when the North London derby was atrue London derby. I think that would be the only way the tie could be absolutely perfect. 2 massive London clubs filled with English talent who were passionate about their respective club. Add Wembley Stadium to the mix and we're talking about the absolute king of all Champions League Finals.

But no, Arsenal are full of foreigners and only a couple of English players. So I hope the nation gets behind the true team of North London. The English core with the technical foreign talent mixed in. Wembley would be like the home advantage to us. The rest of the world will probably just follow based on what style of football they enjoy watching most. Pass, Pass, Pass, Pass, Pass, Pass, Miss or Pass, Pass, 50 yard pass, 50 yard dribble, Cross, Shoot, Score.

My knees are going all trembly thinking about Wembley. The year ending in 1. And the Arse in the final. "Epic" is the word that describes it most aptly!

To dare is to do! Dare to dream?

I've said to several people over the last month this very scenario (and they've all laughed at me!) - I just have a sneaky feeling that we will play them in this competition this year at some point (and that we will beat them!)

To be honest, I don't think I could handle it at all.

I'm not sure about anyone else but the most nervous I've felt watching Spurs in recent years was during extra time vs Chelsea in the League Cup final.

That was almost unbearable....my arms and hands were almost entirely numb with pins and needles, I felt freezing cold and my heart was racing....it was brutal.

I had similar feelings when we beat Arsenal at home last season 2-1, in injury time just praying for the final whistle and then when the Saints made it to the Super Bowl. If Spurs made the CL final, at Wembley, against Arsenal............I think I might actually die before the game finished....in fact, I'm genuinely scared that could happen! haha!

It's awesome how far we've come in such a short space of time that we could even begin to imagine these scenarios.

It's piss your pants excitement time for us now! I was hoping to get the knockout stages, we've done that - anything beyond that for us is surely a bonus now and great experience for the players? (and us as fans, of course!)

I always feel edgy in close games like those. But it feels so so good when the whistle finally does go and you can finally relax and take it all in. It can be difficult to enjoy the game later on. I'm always fine during the first half, but as the clock ticks on I get more and more edgy. Extra time is a lot worse as I always think 1 goal conceded and we'll lose. I felt the same against Pompey, and fel devestated when they scored, then they score a 2nd to add insult to injury from the spot. I imagine Pompey fans felt almost as good as we did (in the Carling Cup final) when they beat us.

My main fear if this game were to happen that it would go to penalties! We are so rubbish at pens.

It would be amazing.

Of course, by 'amazing' I mean 'horrible and I would not watch it'.

What else is in Spurs future?

Spurs are going to meet a (reasonably) tall dark stranger and his name will be Suarez and in the season 2011/12 he will score a record number of premiership goals and the famous Tottenham Hotspur will be champions.

Now you may cross my palm with silver!
