I have to admit I really want him to play for various reasons..
1 Because bale is on fire ....and made Rio Ferdinand ,who i rate much higher than terry, look like a pub player
2 Because AVB knows Terrys weaknesses better than anyone, and how to exploit them
3 Because he is a detestable little toad and I wanna shout stuff at him....
4 ....See reason 3

This. All of this! Couldn't agree more.

I'm looking forward to shouting abuse at him and Cole in particular - but the rest of their team can have it too! Simple as that.

If he decides to appeal tomorrow, will that make him eligible for our game?

I cannot see a fast track appeal for something like this, especially if Terry gets his multi million pence lawyers involved.

Despite claims by others the FA have already said that if he appeals and loses he wont get a longer ban, spineless bastards.

I will be in row three on Saturday and am partly looking forward to giving him and choc ice as much shit as poss.
Trouble is he seems to thrive on being the most hated, vile, contemptuous cretin ever born?

Presumably. Unless for some reason they decided to stick Ivanovic at centre back and play the Azpilicueta fella at right back. But I'd be surprised if it wasn't Cahil and Luiz if Formerly England's Brave John Terry gives in and admits he's a racist fuckwit.

As long as he gets a ban at some point I don't really care. He's a bit of a cart horse (maybe unfair to cart horses) nowadays so Bale and Lennon should be having a field day!

On a related topic...the FA want UEFA to come down hard on Serbia for racism yet they display massive inconsistencies in how they deal with the issue. Terry Fuckwit should get the same punishment as Suarez or possibly more because he is/was an England player/captian and apparently is a role model to kids. #banterry4life

John Terry's statement, after the Chelsea defender chose not to appeal his four-match ban and £220,000 fine:

"After careful consideration, I have decided not to appeal against the FA judgment. I want to take this opportunity to apologise to everyone for the language I used in the game against Queens Park Rangers last October. Although I'm disappointed with the FA judgment, I accept that the language I used, regardless of the context, is not acceptable on the football field or indeed in any walk of life."

"As I stated in the criminal case, with the benefit of hindsight my language was clearly not an appropriate reaction to the situation for someone in my position. My response was below the level expected by Chelsea Football Club, and by me, and it will not happen again. Looking forward, I will continue to do my part in assisting the club to remove all types of discriminatory behaviour from football. I am extremely grateful for the consistent support of Chelsea FC, the fans and my family."

That's actually a pretty good statement, accepting responsibility and moving on. Wasn't expecting that.

After having left it to now I was starting to think that he might actually appeal in order that he could be available to play against us and United. Positive that he didn't take advantage to that extent in the end, but this whole appeal window thing is far too open to manipulation. I'd imagine that the Terry camp probably knew that they would not be appealing within a matter of hours of the verdict, yet he was allowed to sit on the decision for two weeks. That in turn meant that he could time the ban just right so that one of the games he misses is a league cup match that he probably wouldn't have played in anyway.

Liverpool did the same thing with Suarez last season, timing the acceptance of the appeal perfectly so that at least two and potentially three of the games missed would be taken up by cup competitions. Cup matches shouldn't count towards bans accrued for offences in league games imo. They aren't important enough for it anymore.

Sounds like he's still trying to hang on his 'I repeated it sarcastically' bullshit, though. Saying he's disappointed with the FA's judgement is a crock of shit too. He should be delighted at how lenient his punishment is.

Any thoughts of an appeal went out the window after the Danny Rose episode. A decision to appeal would have looked very Stupid in that context.

Don't be fooled by His statement, he has paid a lawyer shit loads to word that...and he had two weeks to get it right.

EXACTLY .... find it very hypocritical of UK/ English press to make such a big deal about the Serbia game and then think its ok for John Terry to just be banned for 4 matches for racist behaviour...... get your own house in order
