This is THE perfect opportunity to play as many youngsters as possible assuming they are worthy of a chance. He's said he'd play youngsters in the past but only played one or two and played back-up players. Hope Kane starts instead of Pav or Crouch. Carroll also, an underrated prospect by fans so it'll will be interesting to see him.

I wouldnt say that, he had some great reviews from one poster who goes to watch Orient.

Im hoping that we can get Bostock and Parrett involved aswell if we get the chance.

thats a bit unfair on Kane, we need to give him a chance, not give him a handycap :wink:

i just hope any of the youths we play take there chance and can push foward this year. Livermore seems to be impressing and could end up being a squad player instead of say JJ

I know bit n peices and have read reviews on him, but is he the type of striker that needs someone to play off, to play off him, or can he be uptop on his own?

Im sure the youngsters play a 433, and guessing he is at the top of the front 3.
Not sure Harry would gamble on just Kane uptop though.

I just meant overall. I reckon 90% of people on here would say that Kane is the better prospect despite the fact that Carroll outshone him by some distance in the views of Orient fans. Here's hoping they both develop though!

I haven't seen him play a full 90minutes before but the overall review of him is that he is more of a deep-lying forward rather than someone who plays on the shoulder or leads the line. I've seen him score a couple of free-kicks and apparently he is a bit of a specialist. Would be great for him to have a go at one v Hearts. Think he'll play alongside Pav.

The academy has been playing alot of different formations including 4-3-3 but they haven't played much of a 442 and when they have, kane has played in the hole of a 4411

Kane can play the lone striker and in the hole, the two times i have seen him he has played well and his finishing has been brilliant but his all round game is lacking atm, he could be fast tracked in to our team like hernandez for man utd

Surely playing GDS would have negative implications for his potential transfer? Plus I'd rather see one of our youngsters who may have a future with us given a shot.

Get Kane up front with Defoe, we definitely wont have Ade (if at all...) for Sunday, Defoe needs confidence, let him get it against a Ryman Premier League equivalent team in Hearts.

I read somewhere that he would be cup tied for the group phase of the CL and then they would (obviously not because he isn't going anywhere) add him as one of 3 changes for the knock-out phase. Looking at it again, if he were to sign in January he could play in the knock-out stages.
