Plenty of threads commenting on and analysing the transfer window. This thread is to look at the squad we have for the rest of the season - not any might have been's.
I''ve listed the first team squad plus in brackets the most likely to feature from the development squad.
Goalkeepers (2) : Hugo Lloris, Brad Freidal (plus Jonathan Miles and Lawrence Vigoroux)
Defenders - CB's (5) : Younes Kaboul (recovering), Michael Dawson William Gallas,Jan Vertonghen, Steven Caulker
Defenders : FB's (3) : Kyle Walker, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Kyle Naughton (plus Zeki Fryers)
Midfielders : (7) : Tom Huddlestone, Jake Livermore, Sandro (injured), Scott Parker, Gylfi Sigurdssun, Moussa Dembele, Lewis Holtby (plus Tom Carroll, Massimo Luongo and Dean Parrett)
Wingers (3) : Gareth Bale, Aaron Lennon, David Bentley (plus Ryan Fredericks)
Strikers (3) : Emanuel Adebayor, Jermain Defoe, Clint Dempsey (plus Jonathan Obika and Cameron Lancaster)
Whilst we all hoped we could strengthen more in the TW, the basic squad is strong especially with the adddition of Lewis Holtby.
The weakest part of the squad is proibably the strikers until Adebayor is back from Africa, where he's actiually looked like getting back to the Adebayor of last season).
Although a number of youngsters are out on loan, we still have a number of good youngsters with a smattering of Spurs first team appearances - Tom Carroll being the most experienced but also Zeki Fryers, Massimo Luongo, Dean Parrett, Ryan Fredericks, Jonathan Obika and Cameron Lancaster. I think we will see some of these on the bench from time to time.
What's our striongest team ?
In 4231 formation Maybe (until Kaboul is fit) :
COYS
Edit - Harry Kane was announced on OS to have returned from his Norwich loan to strengthen the striking options, most probably from the bench.
