Talking about lacking consitency, what kind of squad do you realistic hope for?

It's difficult to judge on each and every single personality, but I give it a go, even if we would be out of the top 4 race for another year. I think we have to create more space for our youth.

I think about:

---------------------Lloris-----------------------
-Walker-----Chiriches------Vertonghen---Rose----
---------------------Sandro----------------------
--------------Holtby----------Carroll--------------
---Lamela-----------Soldado------------Kane-----

Squad: Archer, Miles, Vejlkovic, Dawson, Davies, A. Smith, Fredericks, Bentaleb, Livermore, Capoue, Sigurdsson, Eriksen, Townsend, A Pritchard, Big Striker but not Adebayor

I would give that a go. But honestly, could be difficult to keep Lloris, Verts, Lamela and Soldado in that but heyho, they have signed contracts and should lead a new era.

Take away Vertonghen and Sandro, and replace them with some mediocre mid-table level footballers.

It's our new game plan (y)

We should be building our team around Eriksen in the middle.

Lloris
Walker Chiriches Vertonghen* Rose
Sandro
Carroll Eriksen
Lamela--------------------------Townsend
Soldado
* Don't think Jan will be here next year personally, but obviously if he is then he's in the team.

IMO, it would be a crime for Eriksen to not be in the starting 11 when he is healthy.

Difficult to say as I guess Holtby could offer more defensively and Kane more of a goal threat. But no team plays the same First XI week in week out. He would get his games.

If Sherwood remains in charge I expect we'll see:

Flowers

Kenna Hendry Berg Le Saux

Ripley Sherwood Batty Wilcox

Shearer Sutton

So you want to sell or get rid of:

Friedel
Gomes
Naughton
Kaboul
Benny
Fryers
Paulinho
Dembele
Lennon
Defoe
Chadli
Adebayor

And replace them with:

A big forward

Ok, not convinced that's the way forward.

If we're being realistic, our first XI will probably be:
Neuer
Lahm- Kompany- Hummels- Alaba
Schweinsteiger
Suarez- Bale- Ronaldo
Falcao- Messi

Benny = Davies, Swansea
Fryers = Fredericks, and Fryers on loan
Paulinho = Carroll

Youngsters are brought through gradually behind senior players, a mass cull for unproven kids would be madness.

I have become realistic enough to be more concerned about my career than the spurs team in a year. With time I have realised that they are neither good for my health nor for my career.

Stay up late night and then falling asleep all frustrated only culminates in me getting up late with a foul mood affecting my studies. So staying awake miles apart for a football team seems more of a burden than passion now

THFC won't employ me so I feel its time to move on.I will follow our results but not each game and daily developments. No matter what I just can't see myself supporting any other club besides Spurs

As i have said many times in the past ''The club chooses you and not the other way round'' Good luck Spurs

Good bit of loyal support there!

A couple of bad results and I'm out of here!

Not sure how the club will survive when it's losing such die hard supporters!

You do realise I never said I will stop supporting our club or for that matter follow another

All I said was that I don' feel its worth the emotional and time investment for someone miles apart like me

I am concerned more about my future than the club, not sure thats evil now

I will always hope the best for the team

Didn't you start a nice thread a month ago about 'the Indian yiddos' and how supporting spurs isn't about winning and trophies etc and why supporting Spurs over the usual Indian favourites of UTD & Chelsea is different?

1 bad month later it's now 'more of a burden than a passion' and 'time to move on'!

Well this is the time when everybody connected with and who has passion for the club, be they board members, players, in the crowd supporters, armchair fans and fans thousands of miles away stand up and fight the fires! This is THFC, not fuckin Chelsea, UTD, Liverpool or any other club that it's fashionable for people to claim to support, you support Spurs you support them through everything until your dying breath, now man up get back on the fuckin horse and in front of a tv on Sunday and support the team because every little bit helps!
