Given Jose's quotes about prioritization:

I don't want GLC, Kane, Sanchez, or Lloris playing at all. Tanguy and Bergwijn should both not play more than 60-70 minutes if they do come on. I hate to go out so early, but I really don't give a flying f** about this cup given that our season could be all but over on Thursday.

I would like to bring in a keeper in wheelchair and a CB and striker with crutch in our line up, just to make a point and send a message. Is that possible and realistic? Hope so!

Play reserves/youth so when the Ref and VAR have figured their new peculiar way to screw us at least we can say you only beat our reserves. Looking forward to seeing a Chelsea diving handball goal awarded whilst we have our goal ruled out for brushing davies shoulder in the build up 29 passes back.

Play our C team it’s vital we get to the group stage of Europa which is much more important. For the love of god please don’t play Kane!

We should play our strongest for the Europa and weakest for carabao. We need the money from Europa! More chance of getting a trophy that way then the PL!

We can never throw a match against Chelsea. Also we need to build on the positive vibes from the 1st half against Newcastle, and a tanking at home against Chelsea could be toxic for squad morale.

Strong team, maybe with the odd exception of the players with most minutes so far, most notably Kane.

It's just not humanly possible to ask our strongest XI to play Thursday,Sunday,Tuesday,Thursday and Sunday. Physically impossible, to the point that if you did, the ones that hadn't succumbed to injury would be playing at about 50% on Sunday, so we'd get hammered by United.

At least by fielding a 'B' team vs Chelsea, you will have fresh(ish) legs for the other two games, and lets not forget the 'B' team will still include some very decent players, who will probably lose, but won't get hammered - and one or two players might just produce a bit of magic that could spring a surprise. Sessegnon/Lamela or even Gedson and Clarke have it in them do something exciting.

Jose likes to win this trophy. In fact he likes to win any trophy so if he does not take this seriously then he might as well not be at Spurs after all that was the reason for employing him. We should have won easily today but the finishing was as poor as it had been clinical last week. At least we were not outplayed so O remain positive about Tuesday

when we employed him the circumstances of playing 4 games in 8 days wasn't on the table. we haven't got the squad to be able to play yesterday (injury to Son) this CoC and the more important EL game, followed by Man U

I don't think anyone has the squad for that either - even a full strength Man City would find it difficult to win all 4, not impossible, but certainly they'd find one or two of those games very tough (and at the moment, impossible !).

Very hard to pick this but for me this is our best chance of a trophy given the amount of games, if we can get past Chelsea and get a half decent draw it’s only 4 games until the final whereas EL would be about another 12 or something crazy but rotation
Is needed so soon after Sunday.

Hart

Aurier
Toby
Dier
Regulion

Sissoko
Ndombele

Lamela
Bergweign
Gedson

Dele

Subs:
Lloris, Doherty, Sanchez, GLC, Sess, Clarke, Kane

Apart from the lack of striker that’s not a half bad 2nd team and if we can find a way to score without Kane and Son we have a chance just such a shame we don’t have the 2nd striker in by now as this game is the exact game where they could make all the difference and also mean less minutes for some of the other wingers.
I like that team there bro

Best thing about tomorrow is none of us really expect anything out of it. Think it's a win/win to be honest. The players who are picked will have a point to prove or put themselves in the window.

Jose’s comments in presser basically saying the FA decided we have no chance as we play Tue, Thu, Sunday and Chelsea play Sat, Tue, Sat so they can play their best team and we can’t so we have no chance. “I would like to compete for Europa but I don’t think we can”.

Now sure I get that he’s sending a message to the FA that the fixture scheduling is harsh but surely saying this will make our players who are picked give up hope or do people think this is Jose mind games to try and downplay our chances so it ramps up the pressure on Chelsea or a bit of both?
