If Lucas and Skipp are not ready to start:

------------Lloris-------------
-----Sanchez--Dier-Davies------
Doherty--Winks--Hojbjerg--Reguilon
--------Bergwijn----Lo Celso-----
-------------Kane---------------

Moura or Skipp in for Gio if they could start.

I get the impression that Romero could play, if they needed him. As could Sonny. But Conte is probably not wanting to run the risk of either getting called up at the last minute by their countries. As for Lo Celso, I don't blame him for wanting to go. But given Argentina have qualified. And given that he has been injured three times on international duty, and has missed a ton of games over the last two years, I'd be seriously considering opting out of this round. He has been paid a lot of money by Spurs over the past two years, and has been available for about 2/3 of our games. This season in particular, he has been beset with injuries here and there. I think he maybe owes a little loyalty (on this one occasion) to those that pay him these huge checks. Stay with the rest of the squad and take the opportunity to get fitter and more settled into Conte's system.

Unless he’s not fully fit to start, you don’t drop Bergwijn after those heroics in the last match. Starting him will help him continue to build much-needed confidence.

Please dont play like rabbits caught in the headlights
Please start the game in a positive manner
Please cut out the catastrophic individual errors
Please get close to and stuck into the f#####rs
Please dont shit ourselves when we do have chances

IF..we can manage that which would be different to almost every other recent game v Chelscum.....I fancy us for a point ??????

What game was it that Conte asked if he could be on the bench?

I thought it would have been the Arsenal game, but no idea.

So I'm not sure if he is fit to start yet.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Sessegnon in at LWB for rotation.

Bergwijn and Doherty should both start. Hojbjerg and Skipp need to properly mug Jorginho.

Now Bergwijns confidence is really high I am interested to see what he can do when on form against Chelsea. If we see anything like we did against Leicester I really think he could be a massive player for us. I remember when son first joined and we wanted him gone in the second season because he could not keep his shots down, but then he showed us all what he can actually do. I’m rooting for Stevie now!

You mean first season. Son’s second season (16/17) he got 21 goals and 8 assists in 47 games. 15/16 he got 8 and 5 in 42. People act like he had an awful first season but imo that’s a myth bc people forget he got a foot injury, IIRC plantar fasciitis right after we beat City 4-1 which had him out for a month and ruined his momentum (according to Transfermarkt until this most recent injury, that foot injury was the one that forced him to miss the most games for us, even more than his broken arm). He had some really poor games ie Newcastle away but his first season was average at worst. If stevie gives us 8 and 5 by the end of the season he’s done v well, currently on 3 and 2.

Lo Celso starting against Chelski ????

Why on earth would you want to play with ten men and a passenger.

I take your point but if Skipp is out, who else can play.
Harvey White yep, but is Conte going to throw him in at the Bridge, probably not
Dele, surely not, then who, I can't see anyone but GLC
Just shows how important Skipp has become so quickly that we will miss him so much

Why surely not dele? Last time we played him in midfield in a 352 against Liverpool he did really well. Since then he has only had played out of position as RW and striker.
I’d start him personally if skipp is out

I’d go with this, but If Skipp is out, i would have to put LoCelso in for him.

You have to go 352 and therefore if the Leicester Xi are all fit. Dier obviously back in for Tanganga and you can’t drop Bergwijn imo. In fact even besides the goals some of Bergwijn play was really excellent his touches were really top class I’m really optimistic he’s about to come very good. I’d probably go for Emerson to start if fit as I rate him over Doherty defensively.

It seems like Dele is on his way out of the club, so don't see him starting. But who knows, maybe you're right. I just don't see it myself. I think GLC is ahead of him in Conte’s thinking
