Why Aurier and not Doherty, because he played so well vs Utd or because you think Doherty is tired from International games?
Agree with the rest but also think he'll start Lucas not Lamela but could be a coin flip based on both of their recent form.

That bench is outrageous!

Even if we are losing we could bring on 3/4 of : Dele, Lucas, BALE and Vinicius, my god we've never had options and depth like this.

Moura gives 100% effort but not much productivity .
Lamela gives the same effort plus he has scored two goals in his last two games with the added bonus he is a pain in the arse for the opposition .For me he always gets the vote out of the two players .

could be a great idea as will scare them from the start rather than them getting a foothold on the game and us having to bring him on to rescue us?

but I think Jose will start Lucas Kane and Son, we will be 2-1 up and then Bale comes on and gets the 3rd to calm us all down.

I genuinely think the above team could be one of the two best line-ups we could put out from the full squad (the other has Lo Celso in for Lamela).

I lost track- if Sissoko is fresh, ie did not play major minutes with France, I’d put him in.

and Serge edges Doherty for the same reason.

RAM depends on Bale, fit enough he starts,less so he plays the last half hour.

if the latter I think Lamela deserves the shirt slightly more than Lucas.

key for me is handling Antonio and Bowen on the break, will be a test for whoever plays LCB and young Sergio

I won't be too confident starting the match with just 10 players and with only 6 on the bench!

I think Jose sees Dier as key to controlling Antonio and he also hinted he could play. If he’s anywhere near fit I think he’ll start, and get a rest next two games. I also want to see Bale start if he’s fit enough for 60 mins. I also think we’ll regularly see Sissoko alongside Højbjerg to give our FBs license to bomb on.
