I doubt Bale will start.

Jose will have had him in training for nearly two weeks. He is a Galactico. Jose will be like a kid who had to wait an extra two weeks for his Christmas present to arrive. I cannot see him not starting Bale. I bet even Levy is in his office every day "So ... you think you might start Gareth on Sunday?"

I can definitely see him starting on the bench! He’s coming back to fitness, would make an amazing impact sub and the current starting line up is playing well

I’d actually guess he’ll start on the bench

If there’s one manager out there who’s unmoved by the sway of a Galactico it’s Jose

If there’s one manager who throws new signings straight into the fray it’s Jose. I think if he’s fit he’ll start.

As much as I’d like to see Bale either start or be on the bench if he’s not 100% I’d be happy to see him sit it out, never thought I’d have said that when he signed but we’ve got so many options available now to protect the squad it’s actually quite scary.

Whether Bale starts or comes on as a sub, I hope he scores and does a golf celebration. That would be dreamy ?

This is gonna be tougher than manure... Spam are on a decent run of form and they're all about defending deep then hitting us on the break. So our tactics for manure won't work here.

Having said that I would play Hugo, Reggie, Aurier, Dier, Sanchez, Ndombele, Lucas, Son, Bale, Vicious and Kane

With Kane supposedly having muscle fatigue and if Southgate is a **** and starts him tomorrow is there a chance Vinícius starts having trained with the coaching team for two weeks and in order to give Kane a rest

He starts unless he’s injured. Playing tomorrow’s glorified friendly won’t help.

At least Højbjerg will be unlikely to crunch him :cautious:

Gareth and Vinicious both participated in practice yesterday. One can hope both are ready for Sunday

only question is who makes the bench so id go Hart, Tanganga (can cover all defensive positions), Vinicius, Sissoko and Lucas which is VERY tough on the likes of Toby, Dele, Winks, Doherty and Cocco.

I think José will probably go for 7 subs rather than limit himself to 5 ?

Don’t see Bale starting. I’m interested to see if he does go for GLC and Ndombele together but I think he probably won’t yet

I'm getting the impression it might be a while before we see both of them alongside Hojbjerg. It seems like he's trying to build up their fitness by playing them in rotation, and likes the option of being able to sub the other on. It doesn't help that GLC has had another niggle in the last couple of weeks. I'd be surprised if he starts on Sunday, but I'd imagine Ndombele is a cert.

Same team as United for me I like many others cant wait to see Bale on the pitch with Son Kane and GLC and Ndom behind them but you don't change a team that won 6-1 at Old Trafford not one of those players deserves to lose their place. Send the message that good performances will be rewarded and bad performances will see changes.

Gut feeling is that Jose still isn’t quite comfortable yet to play both Gio and Tanguy together, instead preferring to rotate them and having one fit at any given game. Both have been nursed back to fitness

Bale to come off the bench as first sub. Can see it being Moura, Son and Kane starting.

Please no Sissoko for home games against deep sitting teams. He’s relatively useful in away games but never at home.

Will be brilliant to have someone we can bring on for a gassed Kane, who still gives us the focal point.

No matter how the line up will be we can look forward to a very healthy bench to shake things up the last 30 minutes.
I am confident, don't let me down Spurs. :D
