Ahhhh, the land of Sunder.

Never a nice place to go, but hopefully we'll get the 3 points. 3-1 Kane brace and Alli. Defoe for them in a 90th minute consolation I will politely applaud.

As big a test as some of the "tougher" games we've played recently.

Will be a test of mentality, professionalism and heart. We can't expect to go there and roll them over, although if we stay on it and do the job properly, we should comfortably.

We've all seen the lacklustre and complacent performances in the past in games like this and it's games like this that will show if the mentality of the team truly has changed.

In fairness, they've done it so far at places like Watford and Stoke. I'd take any win but my heart says 3-0 as long as we turn up

I really can't see us not winning this providing we don't turn up expecting to stroll to a comfy win.

If we compete well we'll do the business and Sunderland just don't have enough going forward to supply wee Defoe enough to hurt us, although a conciliation wouldn't surprise me.

I'm going for a 3-0 win, Kane and a brace from Alli.

Just seen that Lawro has gone for a 1-0 Sunderland win.

The cad.

However, Moeen Ali, the guest pundit, says that we look a very good side, that our defence is solid as anything and that we are getting a lot of goals. He has us to win 0-3.

Ali is obviously playing with a straight bat here and I'd trust him to know a hat-trick when he sees one.

On the other hand, Lawro's spin is poorly disguised and he definitely isn't appealing.

0-3 it is then.

"They are on a great run, but I actually think it will be difficult for Spurs to adjust when most of their regulars come back into the team."

You know, like how we tonked West Brom 4-0 after 'readjusting' from the Villa cup game.

He's making a silly point about how the Wycombe game will affect us. Logically, he hasn't got a (deep backward square) leg to stand on. Let's hope his prediction comes up wide of the mark and we hit Sunderland for four.

If lawro's prediction comes in, we'll surely slip into the bottom 3 in his table, surely?

If his tables came off we'd probably be in League 2 by now with Liverpool about to claim their 13th consecutive title against Chelsea tomorrow.

He really is the world's ugliest joke.

This could easily be another Watford where they give up after the first goal. I can seeing it being 5+ nil. Seems to me like they've given up.

Same as most games against the lower teams, if we get an early goal it could be a WBA type game. The longer it goes on the more tense it could be some and the more they'll think they can nick something.

Saying that I think them and Hull have taken the unprecedented step of giving up already!

Normally get a nice freebie for this fixture, but with the terrible scheduling just can't face the midweek trip up there.

Anything but three points would be disappointing tbh.

Lee Mason is reffing - last time reffed us we lost 0-1 at home to Leicester :( However, the two times previous to that were both victories vs Sunderland (y)
